Eagles December Collapse Leads To Questions In Philadelphia

Chip Kelly led the Eagles to a 10-6 record in his first campaign in Philadelphia a season ago. With a win on Sunday vs. the Giants the Eagles will finish 10-6 in Kelly's sophomore season. However a possibility of back to back of double digit win seasons isn't as good as you may think. Philadelphia won 33-10 in Dallas on Thanksgiving improving their record to 9-3. At that time the Eagles had a chance at winning the NFC East and possibly gaining a 1st round bye. Fast forward 3 weeks later the Eagles are eliminated from playoff contention, even before heading up the New Jersey turnpike to take on the Giants in Week 17. Philadelphia has loss 3 straight home vs. Seattle, home vs. Dallas and at Washington. That helped seal their fate and put them on the outside looking in at the upcoming NFL Playoffs. Leading the NFL in turnovers finally caught up with Philadelphia, defensive strategies mainly in the secondary finally caught up to the Eagles, questionable play calling and offensive red zone troubles caught up with Philadelphia and not being able to get your 1st round and other draft picks on the field hurt this squad. It will be a long long did I mention a long off season in Philadelphia after the way the season ended. Add on lack of discipline to the list because the Eagles are league leaders in turnovers as well. The heat will definitely be on Chip Kelly. He let a home run hitter in Desean Jackson go because they couldn't get along. Straight released the guy and all season the offense under Nick Foles and Mark Sanchez missed that deep threat that opened everything up for everyone else. Poetic justice last week as Jackson torched the Eagles and helped end their playoff hopes. Hopefully Kelly isn't stubborn like the coach that came before him 14 years of Andy Reid, who refused to make adjustments and wanted to do things his way.

How Bout Dem' Cowboys Dallas Wins NFC East

8-4 was the Dallas Cowboys record following their Thanksgiving Day home loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. The 33-10 defeat had many football experts thinking it may be another late season collapse for Dallas. The collapse came from Philadelphia. The Eagles haven't won a game since Thanksgiving at AT&T Stadium. The likes of Tony Romo, Dez Bryant, DeMarco Murray and Jason Witten fueled a 3 game winning streak at Chicago, at Philadelphia and clinched the NFC East with a week to spare at home vs. Indianapolis. Jerry Jones boys may not had a good Turkey Day however they had an excellent Thanksgiving. Dallas is 7-0 on the road and head to Washington to close out the regular season with a chance depending on what happens with Seattle, Arizona, Green Bay and Detroit with an opportunity at a #2 seed / 1st round bye. The Cowboys will make their 1st playoff appearance since 2009. This is a team who has won in Seattle earlier in the season. Their defense is middle of the pack, however their offense has multiple weapons. All 5 of their Pro Bowl selections come from their offense including 3 offensive linemen.

December Football Is Here AFC Playoff Picture Is Wide Open

Week 14 is here and over in the AFC their are plenty of playoff positioning yet to be decided. Their is plenty of important football left to be played. Currently New England, Denver, Cincinnati, Indianapolis are division leaders in that order. With San Diego and Miami leading the AFC Wild Card standings. Meanwhile Kansas City, Baltimore, Pittsburgh and Cleveland are right there in the hunt as well. So down the stretch not only could the division leaders change however so could the wild card positioning as well. The playoffs really start in January, nevertheless for the teams that were mentioned the playoffs are starting in December. Fans sit back, relax, enjoy and in the words of Terrell Owens "Get Your Popcorn Ready". Whether your 9-3 or 8-3-1 or 8-4 or 7-5 nothing or no one is safe or secure.

Now With KD & RW Back From Injury OKC Has Ground To Make Up

The Oklahoma City Thunder, have had NBA Championship aspirations since 2011. The Thunder would lose 4-1 to the Miami Heat during the 2012 NBA Finals. The team has been chasing the dream of winning the title ever since, however getting back has been difficult. During the 2013 NBA Playoffs Russell Westbrook was injured early in an opening round series vs. Houston. The knee injury caused him to miss the remainder of the postseason. OKC would lose to Memphis in the West Semifinals. During this past spring the Thunder made it to the Western Conference Finals vs. San Antonio the same team OKC beat in 2012 while advancing to the NBA Finals digging out an 0-2 series hole. This past May San Antonio won in 6 games closing the series out in Oklahoma City. Then went on the beat Miami 4-1 winning the franchise 5th NBA title since 1999. KD was coming off a MVP campaign and along with R. Westbrook was determined to get over the hump this season. However during training camp Durant broke a bone in his foot and during the 1st week of the season Westbrook broke his hand. Points were hard to come by with these pair of All Stars and Olympians out. OKC dug themselves a hole now they must battle back in the tough Western Conference to make up some ground now that the duo is back. OKC is currently 5-13 9 games back of division leader Portland. With these two star players, you just want to get in the Western Conference playoffs.

Big Money Early Off Season Signings Around MLB

Shortly after the San Francisco Giants defeated the Kansas City Royals to win the 2014 World Series, the 2014-15 Major League Baseball off season was upon us. Down in Miami the Marlins wasted no time what so ever locking up Giancarlo Stanton to a 13 year $325 million deal. The Boston Red Sox snatched World Series champion Pablo Sandoval from the Giants to the tune of 5 years $95 million dollars. They weren't done in Boston inking Hanley Ramirez to a 4 year contract worth $88 million dollars. Billy Butler of the AL Champion Kansas City Royals took his DH talents to Oakland for 3 years $30 million dollars. Seattle locked up Nelson Cruz for 4 years $57 million dollars. That's just to name a few players who signed significant deals at the start of free agency. This is only the beginning, obviously more wheeling and dealing is set to come. It's only a matter of time (and money).

Florida State Is Undefeated Yet Rank 4th In The College Playoff Poll

Coming into the ACC Championship Game on Saturday, Florida State is undefeated. As the Seminoles head to Charlotte, North Carolina to take on the Yellow Jackets of Georgia Tech they will be ranked 4th in the college football playoff poll. Their are 3 one loss teams ranked ahead of them in this order 1. Alabama 2. Oregon 3. TCU. This is the first season the college football playoff poll and we probably have more issues or debates now than ever. The SEC is looked upon as the best conference in all of college football. The defending National Champions play in the ACC obviously. Many college football experts believe if the Noles played in the SEC they would not be undefeated. Yes FSU had some close games vs. NC State, Clemson (No Jameis Winston he was suspended) Louisville, Miami, Boston College and Florida. Nevertheless Florida State found a way to comeback and win even vs. Notre Dame. Let's see how these next few weeks play out with various conference championship games on deck. Ultimately the outcome of those games will decide who will participate in the Rose Bowl and Sugar Bowl during the National Semifinals and eventually AT&T Stadium for the National Championship.

Penn State Bowl Ban Lifted

The Penn State Nittany Lions are off to a 4-0 start to being the 2014 college football season. Saturday the Nittany Lions will play host to the Northwestern Wildcats. New head coach James Franklin the Pennsylvania native who was hired from Vanderbilt, once Bill O'Brien left Happy Valley for the NFL has been informed his team is bowl eligible immediately. Sophomore quarterback Christian Hackenberg leads the Penn State offense. He led the Nittany Lions to a last second come back win over in Ireland vs. Central Florida. Penn State loss leading receiver Allan Robinson to the NFL and several offensive lineman as well. Thus far Hackenberg has had to carry the offense due to the inexperience offensive line and inability to run the football constantly. I never thought the Penn State football program especially the current student athletes and coaching staff should be subjected to what Jerry Sandusky or even Joe Paterno did and didn't do respectively. Now that the bowl ban and post season ban is lifted the Nittany Lions are also eligible to play in the Big Ten Championship Game.

Mayweather Jr. Remains Undefeated Defeats Maidana Again

Floyd Mayweather Jr. beat Marcos Maidana a few weeks ago during their rematch.
During their first fight Mayweather Jr. won a split or majority decision. Maidana actually bruised Floyd some what back in May. Fast forward to September TBE (The Best Ever) or TMT (The Money Team) are the names Floyd calls his self won a unanimous decision over Marcos. Only issue in this fight was an alleged Maidana bite to Mayweather Jr. glove in the 8th round. Floyd claimed in his post fight interview his hand was numb for the final 3-4 rounds of the bout. Of course Marcos claimed he never bit his opponent glove. However he did complain the referee would not stop Floyd from constantly holding. Money Mayweather is nearing the end of his Showtime/CBS contract. Many boxing experts wonder who Floyd will fight next in 2015. Here are some possible candidates : Amir Khan or a rematch with Miguel Cotto. Guys like Keith Thurman or Philadelphia's own Danny Garcia could also be opponent options as well.

Pittsburgh Pirates Are Playoff Bound Again

The Pittsburgh Pirates are going back to the MLB Playoffs. The Pirates are heading to the postseason in back to back years for the 1st time since 1991 and 1992. Back in 2013 Pittsburgh made the playoffs for the 1st time in 21 years. Unfortunately for Pittsburgh their Pirates loss in the NL Wild Card round. This is the last week of the 2014 regular season, even though the Pirates clinched a playoff berth, it has not been decided if they will go in as a Wild Card or Division Champion. St. Louis is trying to win the NL Central however Pittsburgh is attempting to catch and pass them. It's possible the two NL Central rivals could meet in October. Maybe maybe not. We shall see. PNC Park will be rocking this October for the 2nd straight season.

Beltway Teams Playoff Bound Once Again

Their will be October baseball played inside of Oriole Park at Camden Yards.
Their will be October baseball played inside of Nationals Park.
Here come the AL East Champion Baltimore Orioles.
Here come the NL East Champion Washington Nationals.
These two teams made the playoffs together back in 2012.
The Nationals won their 2nd division title in 3 years.
Meanwhile the Orioles won their 1st division title since 1997.
During their last playoff appearances both Beltway teams made early exits.
Both squads have excellent talent especially when it comes to pitching.
How far will the Orioles and Nationals go in October, will remain to be seen.
Could you imagine the region if both teams meet in the Fall Classic !

College Football Playoff Is Here

The NCAA Division 1 debate should be over, however will it really be over ? Starting with the current 2014 season through 2025 their will be a 4 team playoff to decide a National Champion in college football. When January 2015 arrives this season Semifinals will take place at the Rose Bowl and Sugar Bowl. Pasadena, California and New Orleans, Louisiana will be the host cities. The National Championship Game will take place at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, TX. The computer voting system is out. Now athletic directors and other college football representatives will play a role in selecting the Final 4 teams. As this article is written the 2014 season is approaching Week 5. Florida State,  Alabama, Oregon and Oklahoma are the current favorites. However this is college football which means with conference play and conference championship games nothing is etched in stone. ESPN has the broadcasting rights to this new playoff system. Meanwhile Dr. Pepper is the new playoff system sponsor. Every college football fan should enjoy the journey because it will be an interesting season and even better finish !

(Stay) Nike Or (Go) Under Armour Is The Choice For Kevin Durant

The NBA reigning MVP and scoring champion, is looking to lead the Oklahoma City Thunder to that elusive NBA Championship. Durant has already won an Olympic gold medal now he wants to win the Larry O'Brien trophy. He's a NBA free agent in 2 years, however he's a sneaker free agent this year. When Durant left the University of Texas back in 2007 he was drafted by the Seattle Supersonics who are the OKC Thunder. Durant took less money from Nike instead of signing with Adidas. Fast forward 7 years later I don't know if Nike is banking on Durant doing the same thing. The numbers that's floating out their is $265 million being offered by Under Armour. UA founder is from the DMV area like Kevin and if he could land KD, you would think UA would go to another level as a company. Shortly after the 2014 NBA Finals ended Durant latest signature shoe came out. Then KD became a free man in the sneaker world. A decision should be made shortly on which way he decides whether that's to stay or to go.

Floyd Mayweather Always Beef Outside The Ring Now It's With 50 Cent

Floyd Mayweather Jr. aka Money Mayweather aka The Money Team (TMT) is always in the news. He's not always in the news just for being an undefeated boxer. Earlier this year Floyd was beefing with Ms. Jackson his former fiance. Now she's dating Nelly. Mayweather Jr. then had an alleged fight with hip hop artist T.I over his spouse Tiny. Now his former best friend 50 Cent made fun of his alleged struggles to read a promotional ad. Money Mayweather responded by posting 2 fight checks online over $70 million. It's possible the beef between 50 and Floyd came about over Ms. Jackson. When the undefeated champion was briefly locked up, the rumors begin to swirl Ms. Jackson was dating 50 Cent. The bond the two developed was over, they parted ways and now with the most recent incident it's has gone to another level. Let's see if 50 Cent will be in the building for Floyd Mayweather Jr. next fight in Las Vegas September 13th.

What Does Paul George Mean For The Indiana Pacers ?

By now many people either saw or read about Paul George tragic lower leg injury during a Team USA scrimmage. This past season NBA All Star Paul George helped lead the Indiana Pacers to the number one seed in the Eastern Conference. Indiana would eventually lose for the 3rd straight season and 2nd straight Eastern Conference Finals series to the Miami Heat. Lance Stephenson left to join the Charlotte Hornets early on in free agency. Paul George hoped to represent his country during the World Cup of Basketball this summer and it all came to an end on that Friday night in Las Vegas. George was being George going for a chase down block on the break, however his leg landed on the backboard stanchion. The result was gruesome. Team USA obviously has replacements, more importantly where do the Indiana Pacers go from here ? Will George miss the entire 2014-15 NBA season or will he play at some point next year ? Only time will tell. However Indiana will miss his talent on offense and defense regardless of how long he will be out. Without George could Indiana go from the top of the Eastern Conference to near the bottom ?

Atlanta Falcons Headline 2014 HBO Hard Knocks

HBO debuted Hard Knocks on August 1, 2001. Hard Knocks is a 6 weeks documentary featuring various things that go on within respective NFL training camps. Back in 2001 the Baltimore Ravens were coming off a Superbowl XXXV win vs. the New York Giants. Hard Knocks took a sabbatical during the summers of 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2011. Other teams after Baltimore and prior to Atlanta this year that has appeared on the show : Dallas (twice), Kansas City, Cincinnati (twice), New York Jets and Miami. Atlanta is coming off a 4-12 season and around the league the rumors are they are a soft team. Obviously head coach Mike Smith is down playing those soft accusations. Smith and his coaching staff through the first 3 episodes are stressing toughness on offense, defense and special teams. Nevertheless the coaching staff also wants discipline. Julio Jones the big time wideout from the University of Alabama is making his return after suffering a season ending injury in 2013. Meanwhile in Episode 2 pass blocking tackle Sam Baker was loss for the season after an ACL injury. Now the team will have to feel the void protecting quarterback Matt Ryan blind side. The Falcons will look to bounce back in the NFC South and make some noise in the NFC. 2 seasons ago the Falcons were the NFC number one 1 season and hosted the NFC Championship Game prior to losing to San Francisco.

Tim Howard Saves The Day Even In World Cup Defeat For USMNT

16 saves, I repeat 16 saves by Tim Howard in the Knockout Round for United States soccer vs. Belgium. Unfortunately at age 36 this could be the final World Cup appearance for Howard. Nevertheless if that was it, Tim Howard saved his best for last literally. He didn't deserve to lose. He bailed out this defense all match long time and time again as Belgium applied constant pressure. Howard probably was the best USMNT player in Brazil during the 2014 World Cup. Belgium went on to advance to the quarterfinals, nevertheless they had to earn it was a pair of extra time goals. The US nearly tied it up after cutting into the lead. However it wasn't mean to be. Howard made history the most saves by a goal keeper in the World Cup in nearly 50 years !

USMNT Escaped The Group Of Death Showed Grit During Knockout Round

Landon Donovan was left off the 2014 United States Men's National Team. Many American soccer fans were just as upset as Donovan was with head coach Jurgen Klinsmann move. The move Klinsmann made could've have hurt his squad after Jozy Altidore went out early vs. Ghana with a hamstring injury. Altidore would not play anymore during the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. Imagine if Donovan was on the team he could have stepped in. I mean he is the all time leading goal scorer for the USMNT. The United States managed to escape the group of death by beating Ghana 2-1. They were moments away from a win vs. Portugal until a late goal off a beautiful pass by Christiano Ronaldo let to the equalizer. That match ended in a draw. Even with a 1-0 3rd match loss to Germany the Yanks would head to the round of 16. However similar to 2010 in South Africa during the World Cup, USMNT couldn't advance further a 2-1 extra time loss to Belgium did them in. However for a little under 2 weeks the guys of USMNT captured America to sit down and watch them grind, claw and flight their way through the tournament.

Don't Call It A Comeback ! Nike Air Flight Huarache Returning Summer 2K14

Nike has tinkered with the Nike Air Flight Huarache from a basketball standpoint. However overall the past couple of years it lacked the OG appeal. The sole of the sneaker was make completely different than the original model. Growing up in the early 1990's I really like the Nike Air Flight Huarache especially after seeing the Michigan Fab Five and Duke Blue Devils rocking them ! God bless Tinker Hatfield the University of Oregon graduate, created this shoe. If you ask me it ranks right up there with some of the Air Jordan models that he put together. The Nike Air Flight Huarache according to several sneaker media outlets will make a return later during this summer of 2K14. I personally can't wait !

Jordan Brand Will Begin Remastering Classics In 2K15

The Air Jordan IV along with the Air Jordan VII and Air Jordan X will kick start a Jordan Brand trend starting in 2015. Many Air Jordan fans including myself have complained about 3 things when it comes to recent retro releases. Those 3 things are : increase in price, however a decrease in material and no Nike Air on the back of III -VI retros similar to the OG pairs. I'm sure sneaker fans will expect with the prices to become raised even more with the remastered series, that the material to make the sneakers will get better. Personally I think I'll pass on the 3 remastered sneakers to bat lead off for Jordan Brand next year. No matter what the remastered series despite the price, Jordan's will obviously sale out from a retail standpoint and will sale from a consignment standpoint. Maybe the best is yet to come for Jordan Brand with the remastered series. Maybe not. We shall see.

First Beckett Second Kershaw = Dodgers 2014 No Hitters

Josh Beckett is a former World Series Champion. Clayton Kershaw is a current Cy Young Award Winner. The both pitch of the Los Angeles Dodgers staff. In May at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia Josh Beckett no hit the Phillies. Last week in Los Angeles the Colorado Rockies were no hit by Clayton Kershaw. In less than a calendar moth the Dodgers has pitched a pair of no hitters. Which is a rare. Maybe this could help spring board the Dodgers to 1st place in the National League West they currently trail their rivals San Francisco. Beckett won World Series titles with Florida and Boston during his younger days. Clayton Kershaw is young and if he can stay healthy should continue to add Cy Young Awards.

Demsey Scores In 1st 30 Seconds USA Gets Revenge Against Ghana

During the 2006 World Cup and during the 2010 World Cup USA men's soccer were knocked out vs. Ghana. Fast forward to the 2014 World Cup in Brazil the USA wanted some pay back. Clint Demsey during his team first match scored the 5th fastest goal in World Cup history. Demsey scored 30 seconds into the match vs. Ghana which gave the United States an instant 1-0 lead. Ghana would go on to tie the match 1-1 with a late goal. At that point it appeared the United States would not defeat their foes from Ghana. It looked as if both squads would get 1 point apiece from a draw. Then a US corner kick came and it found the head of John Brooks, that shot found the back of the net ! It gave the United States a 2-1 lead which led to a win. Sunday the Yankees will take on Portugal and Ronaldo. Both teams are hobbled so it will be a war of attrition. Who will play vs. who will play hurt vs. who won't play at all. Theater at is best at 6pm Eastern Time on Sunday. Will the US inch one step closer with a draw or win to the round of 16 ? Will Portugal break US hearts with a win and 3 points ? They are a desperate team. The United States will need to match that desperation. Because with a loss they could be fighting for their lives vs. Germany on Thursday. World Cup baby win or go home !

Ochoa Saves Mexico During Early World Cup Play

Mexico this past week in their first match vs. Brazil were basically playing a road game. As everyone knows the 2014 World Cup is taking place in the country of Brazil. Brazil has the most World Cups ever ! They are looking to add another in the next few weeks. Mexico thanks to goal keep Guillermo Ochoa earned a tough point in group play vs. Brazil. Ochoa in both halves made save after breath taking save to keep Mexico alive and well. Not just in that particular match but going forward giving Mexico an opportunity to advance to the round of 16. Many futbol experts had Brazil rolling past Mexico gaining another 3 points. They probably should have done just that. However Guillermo Ochoa literally saved the day and wouldn't let his team lose. Let's see if the momentum Guillermo gave Mexico will carry on to their next match vs. Croatia. Croatia has a solid goal keeper as well in Mario Mandzukic. Should be an interesting match to watch just from the goal keeping alone.

Is Lebron James On The Verge Of The Decision Part II

Following the Spurs 5 game victory over the Heat the rumors surrounding Miami and their Big 3 began to take place. Will D. Wade opt out ? Will Chris Bosh opt out ? However the million or billion dollar questions are surrounding Lebron will he opt in or will he opt out ? This December Lebron will turn 30. He helped lead Miami to 4 straight NBA Finals and the Heat won back to back championships in 2012 & 13. We all remember the summer of 2010 and 'The Decision' that took place on ESPN when James announced he would exit Cleveland and enter Miami as a free agent. During the 2010-11 season Miami won the Eastern Conference the 1st of 4 in a row. The Heat would take a 2-1 series lead over Dallas before falling to the Mavericks in 6 games. The Heat would beat the Thunder in 5 to win the title in 2012 and went the distance vs. San Antonio to win the title in 2013. However after the Heat were dismantled by the Spurs during the 2014 NBA Finals rumors began to come out of Miami. Teams such as Houston are being rumored to be interested in James even Chicago. Some experts have said maybe Carmelo Anthony will opt out in New York and come to South Beach. At this point it is all speculation however at some point this summer decisions will have to be made for the Big 3 in Miami and other superstar free agents around the league. Rumblings out of Miami is James wasn't happy with the Heat front office for not spending enough on bench players. San Antonio had the edge on bench production in the Finals. Lebron may want ownership to dish out more money to improve the Heat bench or else. James could commit for one season than leave or he could commit long term ditto for Wade and Bosh. We could be witnessing a remix of summer 2010. Stay tuned !

Bottom Line San Antonio Was Simply The Better Team

During the 2014 NBA Finals the San Antonio Spurs beat Miami 4-1. However during the Spurs four victories over the Heat, they won by 15 or more points. People have to give the Spurs credit where credit is due. San Antonio had a higher basketball IQ than Miami. San Antonio were the deeper team, they were unselfish and passed the basketball until they found the open man. Yes Miami were the more athletic team however like that older YMCA teams that beat younger YMCA teams that's how these NBA Finals looked. San Antonio lets not forget let Miami off the hook last season. Miami capitalized by winning the 2013 NBA Finals in 7. Meanwhile it appeared that San Antonio would win the title in 6 games. Fast forward to 2014 the lone Miami victory in Game 2 was only by 2 points. The Spurs stormed back in Game 6 last Sunday on Father's Day after starting the game down 22-6. Where do both teams go from here especially Miami. James, Wade and Bosh could all opt out of their respective contracts. So it will an intriguing summer on South Beach. Miami were denied a 3 peat and 4th overall title in franchise history. The Heat did appear in 4 straight NBA Finals representing an Eastern Conference that lacks depth many would say weak. Meanwhile the Spurs won their 5 title in franchise history in 6 NBA Finals appearances. How much longer will Tim, Manu and Tony play ? Obviously only time will tell. Similar to the decisions that will be made in Miami going forward.

Kawhi Leonard At Age 22 Named NBA Finals MVP

Man oh man, the Spurs made an excellent draft day trade in 2011. San Antonio dealt George Hill for the draft rights of Kawhi Leonard. Leonard is a west coast kid from San Diego State University. He played well minus the Game 6 late missed free throws in the 2013 NBA Finals. Those missed free throws helped springboard a series of events that allowed Miami to force overtime after trailing by 5 with 30 seconds remaining. Miami went on to win Game 6 and Game 7 to beat San Antonio 4-3. This year during the NBA Finals Kawhi played even better especially when the series shifted to Miami for Game 3 and Game 4. He was aggressive on offense and on defense guarding Lebron James. Leonard won his first NBA Finals MVP award and initial NBA championship. He helped veterans Tim Duncan, Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili win their 5th, 4th and 4th championship respectively. Probably for the quiet natured Leonard the best has yet to come.

Deja Vu Flyers West AKA LA Kings Hoist The Cup Once More

During the 2012 Stanley Cup Final, the Kings won their first Cup in franchise history. Former Philadelphia Flyers head coach John Stevens was on the staff also forward Simon Gagne plated for LA. Fast forward to 2014 Los Angeles has won their 2nd Cup in 3 years and their 2nd Cup in franchise history. The Kings and Flyers are now tied with 2 Cup victories apiece however in Philadelphia 1975 was the last time the Cup was won. Guys like Justin Williams, Mike Richards and Jeff Carter are also ex Flyers that won in 2012 for the Kings and won again in 2014. In Philadelphia these Kings are known as 'Flyers West'. Los Angeles eliminated the Rangers in 5. New York beat Philadelphia in 7 games during a first round series that ended in early May.

Former Flyer Justin Williams Collects The Conn Smythe Trophy

Justin Williams spent the first four seasons of his NHL career playing for the Philadelphia Flyers. Then during the 2003-04 Williams was traded to the Carolina Hurricanes. Justin would play in Raleigh for a little over four seasons before heading out west to the Los Angeles Kings. Justin Williams won the 2006 Stanley Cup with Carolina. He also won 2 of the last 3 Stanley Cup titles in Los Angeles. The Kings were victorious in 2012 now after beating the Rangers in 5, they hoisted the Cup in 2014. The 32 year old forward collected the Conn Smythe trophy along the way, as the MVP of the 2014 postseason. The Philadelphia Flyers have not won the Stanley Cup since 1975 and now they watch the Kings with former Flyers tie Philadelphia with 2 Cup victories all time.

Spurs vs. Heat 2014 NBA Finals We Meet Again Edition

We all know how Game 6 of the 2013 NBA Finals ended. San Antonio missed free throws late turned into a Chris Bosh offensive rebound which led to a Ray Allen 3 and eventually a Miami overtime win to tie the series at 3. A late Ginobili turnover in Game 7 sealed the fate of San Antonio and gave Miami their 2 straight title and 3rd title in franchise history. The Spurs basically felt they let the 2013 NBA Championship slip away. Now they get a chance to make up for what happened a year ago. However will Lebron James, D. Wade, Chris Bosh and the Miami Heat allow that to happen. Miami is on a mission to 3 peat. Meanwhile the series could come down to how healthy Tony Parker leg/ankle is. Parker had to exit Game 6 of the Western Conference Finals vs. Oklahoma City with a lower leg injury. If TP isn't his normal self it could diminish the Spurs chances vs. the Heat. Miami battling San Antonio is the 1st repeat Finals since Chicago vs. Utah in 1997 and 1998. We all know how those series ended Jordan, Pippen, Jackson and the Bulls winning their 5th and 6th titles respectively. The next week and a half - two weeks should be interesting. Game 1 starts the Finals this Thursday in San Antonio as the 2-2-1-1-1 NBA Finals format returns.

Did You Know : Lebron Has Done What Jordan And Kobe Has Not

Michael Jordan appeared in 6 NBA Finals. Jordan helped lead the Chicago Bulls to a pair of 3 peats from 1991-1993 and 1996-1998. Kobe Bryant has appeared in 7 NBA Finals along with Shaq they led the Los Angeles Lakers to a 3peat from 2000-2002. Kobe also helped lead the Lakers to back to back titles in 2009 and 2010 and appeared in 3 straight NBA Finals from 2008-2010. Meanwhile Lebron James is appearing in his 5th career NBA Finals. However this is James and the Miami Heat 4th straight NBA Finals 2011-2014. Miami has joined the Lakers 1982-1985 and Boston 1984-87 as the most recent teams to do it. Miami is only the 3rd franchise to cap off that run. Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant have never played in 4 straight NBA Finals. James will look to join Jordan and Bryant as guys who have three peated. Maybe the best is yet to come for Lebron.

Blackhawks vs. Kings Game 7 Let's Get It On

The New York Rangers are patiently awaiting their Stanley Cup Final opponent. The last two Stanley Cup champions Los Angeles Kings and Chicago Blackhawks are looking for a Game 7 win to advance. The defending champion Blackhawks kept their season alive Friday night with a 4-3 win in Los Angeles. Sunday in Chicago at the United Center will mark the Kings 21st postseason game this spring and 3rd Game 7. The winner of Sunday night game will probably be favored vs. New York. Game 7 should be a great battle. The Blackhawks are probably favorite to win. Nevertheless don't underestimate the Kings. May the best team win.

New York Rangers Party Like It's 1994

It took 12 wins for the New York Rangers to turn back the clock 20 years. It also took a 7 game series vs. Philadelphia during the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals and another 7 game series vs. Pittsburgh during the Eastern Conference Semifinals. Finally a Game 6 1-0 win vs. Montreal sent the Rangers to the 2014 Stanley Cup Finals their 1st appearance since 1994. In the process they denied the Canadiens their 1st Stanley Cup Finals appearance since 1993. The Rangers will await the winner of Los Angeles vs. Chicago out West. The winner of the Western Conference Finals will probably be the favorite vs. New York. Nevertheless who cares ! The Rangers have handled adversity all season on and off the ice. The Stanley Cup Finals coming back to Madison Square Garden and the city that never sleeps. Maybe the best has yet to come. Maybe New York will see their team raise the cup like the 1994 team led by Mark Messier vs. Vancouver.

It's Those Chicago Blackhawks Again ! They're Back In The NHL Final 4

The Chicago Blackhawks have won 2 of the last 4 Stanley Cup Finals. By the way they are the defending Stanley Cup champions after beating the Boston Bruins last June. In 2010 they beat the Philadelphia Flyers to claim the Cup as well. During the 2013-14 NHL regular season the true Monsters Of The Midway finished with 107 points in the loaded Western Conference. The playoff team to beat out West especially after acquiring goaltender Ryan Miller from Buffalo, were the St. Louis Blues. Let's go back to the opening round this year St, Louis held a 2-0 series lead vs. Chicago. The Blachawks would go on to win 4 straight and beat the 111 point Blues 4-2. Chicago in the Western Conference Semifinals went on the oust the Minnesota Wild 4-2. Now they will await the Game 7 winner of Anaheim who led the West and 2nd in the NHL with 116 points and Los Angeles who finished with 100 points. The Kings are too shabby themselves going down 0-3 in round one to win 4 straight while eliminating San Jose. The Ducks once trailed LA 2-0 then won 3 straight to go up 3-2 before LA won Game 6 to tie the series 3-3. Chicago will most certainly be a tough out as they reach the NHL Final Four once again.

Rangers Will Face Canadiens In the Eastern Conference Finals

During the 2014-15 NHL regular season the Montreal Canadiens and New York Rangers finished with 100 and 96 points respectively. Now Montreal and New York will square off in the Eastern Conference Finals starting on Saturday. Obviously the winner of the series will head to the Stanley Cup Finals. The Rangers have not reached the Stanley Cup Finals since 1994. Montreal meanwhile has not appeared in the Stanley Cup Finals since 1993 when they won their 24th Cup. It's obviously been a long extremely long time for both teams to represent the Eastern Conference in June. This Saturday let the games begin ! Game 1 will take place in Montreal. How did both teams get here ? Let's take a look : Montreal swept Tampa Bay 4-0 in the 1st round and knocked out Boston on the road in Game 7 during the Eastern Conference Semifinals. Meanwhile the Rangers went through the state of Pennsylvania winning a pair of 7 game series. New York won at home in Game 7 vs. Philadelphia in round one. New York won on the road in Pittsburgh during Game 7. Henry Lundqvist vs. Carey Price will be the marquee goaltender match up.

UConn 13-0 All Time In Men & Women National Title Game

UConn won both the men's and women's 2014 NCAA National Championships ! Neither team has lost a National Championship once they have appeared in that game. College basketball fans are used to seeing this on the women's side from head coach Geno Auriemma. Auriemma led his most recent lady Huskies squad to a 40-0 record. Meanwhile 2nd year coach former NBA point guard and former UConn point guard Kevin Ollie led his school on an amazing run. As a 7th seed in the East, beat #2 Villanova in the 3rd round after being down 10, knocked off #4 Michigan State in the Elite 8 after being down double digits and in the National Semifinal #1 Florida. Then UConn would beat Kentucky and the best freshmen class since the Michigan Fab Five for the National Championship. Storrs, Connecticut is basketball heaven. For the men it's their 4 title since 1999. Obviously this season the lady Huskies were untouchable knocking off Notre Dame (another undefeated team) to cut down the nets in Nashville, Tennessee. Meanwhile the men improved to 3-0 in the state of Texas after cutting down the nets in Arlington, Texas.

Phil Jackson Makes 1st Move As Knicks Executive...Cans Head Coach Mike Woodson

On March 18th, 2014 Phil Jackson was introduced as President of the New York Knicks. He signed a 5 year deal worth $60 million. The former Knicks player won the 1970 & 1973 NBA Championships. As a head coach he led the Chicago Bulls to a pair of 3 peats : 1991-1993 & 1996-1998. Jackson also led the Los Angeles Lakers to 5 titles including a 3 peat : 2000-02. Phil won his last NBA Championship in 2010 as the Lakers defeated the Boston Celtics in 7 games. New York missed the 2014 NBA Playoffs and Mike Woodson was relieved of his head coaching duties. That's the first of many moves basketball experts expect Jackson to make. All Star and USA Olympic Gold Medalist Carmelo Anthony will probably opt out of his contact and become a free agent. It will be interesting to see if both sides come together this summer or will they go their separate ways. Jackson already let it be known, he would not be coaching in New York. So many areas he has to work on to improve the Knicks. The New York Knickerbockers have been a mess for quite sometime, on the court, in the front office and economically. Leave it to the Knicks they will keep the basketball world interested ! How long will it take for Phil Jackson to turn New York into an Eastern Conference contender ?

Wrestlemania XXX Is Tonight ! Here Is Why Wrestlemania VI Is Special...

Sunday April 6, 2014 will mark the 30th anniversary of WrestleMania. With one of my favorite wrestlers as a child Ultimate Warrior going into the WWE Hall Of Fame. However WrestleMania VI which took place on Sunday April 1, 1990 will always be special to me. My aunt & uncle may he R.I.P purchased the event. It was the 1st WrestleMania I saw. Hulk Hogan was another favorite wrestler of mine growing up and he took on the Warrior. Hogan's World Championship vs. Warrior and his Intercontinental Championship. It became the first international WrestleMania as Vince McMahon took his baby to Toronto, Ontario Canada and Skydome. Skydome was a great atmosphere with a hotel built into the stadium. Warrior defeated Hogan to become WWF Champion. However some of my other favorite wrestlers took the ring that afternoon : Shawn Michaels (then a member of the Rockers), Bret Hart (then a member of the Hart Foundation) and Demolition who won the tag team belts. Tonight I'll watch online however 24 years ago one WrestleMania took place that will always remain special in my heart.

UConn vs. Kentucky To Battle For 2014 National Championship

Monday Night UConn will take on Kentucky for all the marbles. All the chips will be on the table for the 2014 Men's NCAA National Championship. American Athletic Conference (in it's first year) vs. Southeastern Conference. Senior point guard Shabazz Napier won a National Championship in 2011 as a freshmen teaming up with Kemba Walker. John Calapari coached a group of freshman led by Anthony Davis to the 2012 National Championship as Kentucky beat Kansas. UConn grad ex NBA point guard Kevin Ollie a Texas native only in his 2nd season as head coach, has done a tremendous job in Storrs. UConn lost to Louisville 3 times this year however beat Florida twice this year including a Final Four win. Kentucky lost to Florida 3 times this year however they are the SEC team playing for the title. The game will take place at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, TX UConn has won 3 National Titles since 1999 with the last two coming in San Antonio and Houston. Now they'll try to win one in the Dallas/Ft. Worth/ Arlington area. Meanwhile Kentucky start 5 freshmen who were tabbed the greatest recruiting class before the season started. Both squads seem like teams of destiny especially during the months of March & April. Monday Night one will be crowned a champion.

Obviously Michael Jordan Was Great But Is He The G.O.A.T ? Upon Further Review Let's Take A Look....

1990-91 at the age of 9 going on 10 years old, was the first season I really began to watch the NBA. Michael Jordan was in his 7th NBA season, coming off 3rd straight losses to the Pistons in the Eastern Conference Playoffs. Those losses included back to back Eastern Conference Finals losses to those Bad Boys teams. MJ and the Bulls in the spring of 1991 finally exercised those postseason defeats. Chicago swept Detroit in the ECF. Chicago won their first NBA Championship over Magic Johnson and the Los Angeles Lakers. As a kid in elementary / middle / high school obviously I enjoyed watch Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls play. Chicago when I was growing up played routinely on NBC and TNT. However my favorite Bulls player was Scottie Pippen. Even as an adult I would get into sports debates especially in the barbershop. I still to this day closing in on age 33 said Wilt Chamberlain is the best big man & Michael Jordan is the best guard. Both players listed in the debate obviously can be arguable. However most people believe because Jordan was 6-0 in the NBA Finals which included a pair of 3 peats that automatically makes him the best ever. Most Jordan fans don't even want to hear another player name mentioned in the debate. A few weeks ago I stumbled across some interested video on YouTube. I'll share with my readers and see what they think. NBA Legends will weigh in on Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, NBA, level of competition, NBA expansion etc...

Kentucky vs. Wichita State Instant Classic Best Game Of The Tournament Thus Far !

35-1, That's the final record for the 2013-14 Wichita State Shockers. The one defeat came on Sunday in the round of 32 to the Kentucky Wildcats. Through 52 NCAA Tournament games this was the best game so far. The fans in St. Louis were treated to a show. It was a pair of heavyweights going toe to toe and blow for blow. Neither team deserved to lose however someone had to win. Now the young Kentucky Wildcats will move on to Indianapolis to take on in state rival Louisville. Both squads on Sunday showed so much heart. The Harrison twins were key for Kentucky scoring 39 total points to help big man Julius Randle. Cleanthony Early was flat out hooping for the Shockers with a slew of transition dunks, pull up jumpers and deep threes. The game had the feel of an Elite 8, Final Four or National Championship Game. The Shockers were trying to make back to back Final Four appearances. Nevertheless it was a great season. We shall see on Friday night can these young Wildcats make a serious run at the Final Four. Because any game vs. Louisville is always personal, now the stakes are hire with a trip to the Elite 8 on the line. Can this game become an instant classic like Kentucky vs. Wichita State.

Napier Got It Wright At The Wrong Time For Villanova

During Selection Sunday, Philadelphia fans dreamed of a potential Holy War / Big Five 3rd round matchup between St. Joseph's and Villanova. However by the time Saturday rolled around and the round of 32 ended UConn would have none of that. Thursday the Huskies ousted the Hawks in OT after trailing by 10 in the first half. Saturday with a Sweet 16 appearance on the line in Buffalo the Huskies knocked Villanova out of the NCAA Tournament. UConn will be headed to New York City on Friday to take on Iowa State at Madison Square Garden. Shabazz Napier the Huskies senior guard led UConn to a pair of weekend victories in Western New York. Napier hit clutch shots vs. the Big Five best, made free throws done the stretch as well as key passes to open teammates. The kid even came back from a calf injury to close out Nova. Villanova since their 2009 Final Four run has only 2 NCAA Tournament wins, exited in their 1st game twice and exited in the round of 32 twice. Villanova going forward has to get it right come tournament time. Jay Wright has an excellent recruiting class coming in and will only lose 2 seniors who play significant minutes. The key stretch for Nova is when up by 10 (19-9) they went 11 minutes in the 1st half without scoring ! All this while Napier was on the bench with 2 fouls. Nova went into halftime down 1, however for UConn that felt like a victory in itself. My oh my, Napier sealed the deal in the 2nd half for the time he missed in the first half and helped the Huskies and head coach Kevin Ollie move on.

SDSU Head Coach Steve Fisher Exposed NCAA Tournament Travel Policy

The San Diego Aztecs got through the first weekend of the 2014 NCAA Tournament in Spokane, Washington. Now they are off to Anaheim, CA to take on the Arizona Wildcats on Thursday. However prior to leading his team to the Sweet 16, Steve Fisher guided SDSU to a 3rd round win vs. North Dakota State and a 2nd round win vs. New Mexico State. New Mexico State took San Diego State to overtime before losing. Fisher during his post game press conference initiated conversation about the NCAA and it's travel policies. Steve Fisher the former head coach of the Michigan Wolverines led the Fab 5 to a pair of National Championship Games and won the 1989 National Championship. Coach Fisher revealed to the assembled media in Spokane he called the NCAA to ask if his team could stay the night if they had loss. Fisher said they told him no. Last season in Philadelphia after being upset by Florida Gulf Coast SDSU and their supporters had been on the plane for 10 hours before getting back to the west coast. New Mexico State was forced to leave Spokane and didn't get back to campus until the sun was rising. Meanwhile Cincinnati who lost to Harvard earlier that day was able to fly back home the next day. Fisher spoke about the several billion dollar deal the NCAA has with CBS, yet they can't accommodate schools that lose in the tournament. Just another black eye for the National Collegiate Athletic Association. It seems like with them it's not how much money you make, it's how much you keep.

Which Teams Will Be #1 Seeds Are Overrated !

Roll the balls out and let's get busy ! It's NCAA Tournament time the 2K14 edition. Within an hour we'll see the brackets revealed. However before and after the selection committee make their decisions the debate goes on who should or should not be a number 1 seed. This year Florida and Wichita State seems like locks to become #1 seeds. Many experts think Arizona will be the 3rd #1 seed. As far at the 4th #1 seed Villanova, Michigan, Virginia and Louisville seem to be in the mix. If I had to pick I would go with Louisville slightly over Virginia for a 1 seed. However I wouldn't be shocked if UVA got that final 1 seed. This is a year where their is no dominate team in college basketball. So to me number seeding is over rated. It's all about match ups and styles. Can't wait on Tuesday and the First Four to get the tournament started !

Selection Sunday Superbowl Sunday Most Exciting Sunday's Of The Year

Here we are Sunday March 16, 2014 and as this article is being written we are less than an hour away from NCAA Tournament brackets being revealed. Today is known as Selection Sunday. To me today and Superbowl Sunday are the best Sunday's of the year. It doesn't get much better than those pair of annual sports days. 42 days ago Superbowl Sunday was upon us as Seattle and Denver did battle. The Seahawks beat the Broncos by 35 on February 1, 2014 to win Superbowl XLVIII. During the 2013-14 NCAA Men's Basketball season their have been no clear favorites to win the National Championship. However once 6pm arrives we'll all find out the Road To The Final Four which will take place in early April. The home of the Dallas Cowboys will host the 2014 Final Four. In less than an hour we'll see bubbles burst, controversial number 1 seeds, potential match ups as the tournament moves on etc...Let the good times roll !

Led By Harden & Howard Rockets Could (Should) Make A Run To Western Conference Finals

Houston come playoff time can compete with any other team in the Western Conference. Oklahoma City led by Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook are probably the favorites to come out the West. Also the veteran San Antonio Spurs led by Tony Parker and Tim Duncan are expected to be playing in June. Even the Los Angeles Clippers are a sexy pick led by CP3 and Blake Griffin. However the team that not to many people are talking about are the Houston Rockets. The Rockets can make a Western Conference Finals run and may even have enough in the tank to get to the NBA Finals. Dwight Howard is finally in a happy place in his career playing with a fellow All Star in James Harden. Howard will provide rebounding, interior defense and a low post presence inside on offense. Harden can play 3 positions and score at will, however he's a terrific passer as well. Jeremy Lin can run the offense and knock down the three. Guys like Parsons and Jones are coming on this season as well. The Rockets seemed to be coming together at the right time. Now obviously the Western Conference has depth so it won't be easy for anyone. Especially when teams such as Portland and Golden State will be in the playoff mix looking to make a run themselves.

Will The Turner Trade Help Beat Miami When They Meet Face To Face

During the 2013-14 NBA trade deadline, the Pacers front office led by Larry Bird made a bold move. Sending veteran Danny Granger a former All Star to Philadelphia for upcoming free agent swingman Evan Turner. Indiana took the 2 time NBA defending champion Miami Heat to 7 games in last seasons Eastern Conference Finals. Realistically it is expected that Miami and Indiana will meet again come late May. Turner probably backup Paul George and Lance Stephensen. However ET (as he was known in Philadelphia) can play the PG/SG/SF positions. You may see all 3 guys in the game in at one time depending on how the Pacers coaching staff wants to play it. Turner plays with no fear regardless of the opponent. He most certainly will aid spark and versatility off the Indiana bench. I'm sure in May the question will be asked can Indiana finally knockout the champions and reach the NBA Finals for the 1st time since June 2000.

Marcus Smart After Texas Tech Incident Focused On Leading Cowboys To NCAA's

Marcus Smart came back to Stillwater, Oklahoma for another season of college basketball. Smart a promising point guard could have left school early to enter the NBA Draft. However he wanted to help lead his Oklahoma State Cowboys to a deeper tournament run in 2014. By now we all know about the shoving incident several weeks ago during a Cowboys loss at Texas Tech. Smart is looking to lead his team to the NCAA Tournament after sitting out 3 games during his suspension. Oklahoma State beat Texas Tech at home earlier this week in Marcus Smart 1st game back. This weekend the Cowboys will look to build their tournament resume as they take on Kansas at home as well. Right now OSU is a middle of the pack team in the Big 12 Conference. They'll need some signature wins down the stretch of the regular season and also in the Big 12 Tournament. Many NBA scouts will have their eyes on Smart a potential NBA Lottery selection as March nears.

So Long Sochi USA Men's Hockey Go Quietly Without A Medal

The United States Men's Hockey team steam rolled to the knockout round by posting a 3-0 record. Which included a shootout win vs. Russia the 2014 Winter Olympics host nation. Rewind back to 2010 in Vancouver during the Winter Olympics the United States lost a late lead in the Gold Medal game vs. Canada. The final result would be a Canadian win in overtime vs. the Americans. After 4 years of waiting America had it's chance at revenge against Canada. It would be the semifinal round in Sochi where the United States would lose a 1-0 contest to team Canada. Putting the Canadians in the Gold Medal game which they ultimately won. Team USA would have to settle for the Bronze Medal game vs. Finland. USA found themselves down 2-0 and would eventually lose 5-0 as they exit Sochi without a medal. Shutout in back to back games by a combined total of 7-0. True disappointment not to medal in Sochi after the fast tournament start. Another disappointment vs. the Canadians their number one nemesis. 34 years and counting since the 1980 USA won the Gold Medal in Men's Hockey.

Who Is TJ Oshie ?

During the 2014 Winter Olympics a new American hero was born. His name is TJ Oshie and he scored 4 shoot-out goals to help led the United States to a 3-2 shoot-out win vs. Russia. The Americans beat the Russians on their home turf. We all know the story from 1980 in Lake Placid, New York when the Americans beat the Russians in a semifinal game. That truly was an upset of all upsets. Now let's find out who is T.J Oshie : he was born on December 23, 1986 in Mt Vernon,WA. The St. Louis Blue drafted Oshie with the 24th pick in the 1st round of the 2005 NHL Draft. That's after T.J left North Dakota University prior to his senior year to become a professional hockey player. T.J Oshie was named to the U.S.A Men's hockey team on January 1, 2014. It'll be interesting to see if the United States will be able to win the gold medal once the knock out rounds come. Back in 2010 they lost the Gold Medal game to Canada. Maybe for team USA the best has yet to come in Sochi.

History Made At Superbowl XLVIII Russell Wilson Became 2nd Black QB To Win Title

Sunday February 2nd, 2014 NFL history was made at Metlife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ. When the 4th quarter clock struck zero the Seattle Seahawks beat the Denver Broncos by 35 points. Russell Wilson who was drafted to play Major League Baseball and drafted in the 3rd round by the Seahawks in 2012 became a World Champion. He became the 2nd black quarterback to win the Superbowl. Doug Williams became the 1st back in Superbowl XXII. The common opponent were the Denver Broncos vs. John Elway and Peyton Manning. Wilson transferred in college from NC State to Wisconsin and led the Badgers to a Big Ten championship and to the Rose Bowl. Russell Wilson only in his 2nd NFL season has reached the mountain top. He may not throw for 300-400 yards on a weekly basis, however I like to always say he simply wins. His numbers may not be the most impressive yet the kid gets the job done. He plays his part on a team with a strong running game, great defense and solid special teams play.

Seahawks Talk The Talk Then Walk The Walk

Running back Marshawn Lynch, isn't much of a talker. According to the veteran running back from Cal, he rather do his talking on the field "Boss". During Superbowl week especially during media day Lynch only spoke for a minimum just enough to not be penalized by the National Football League. However his teammates especially on the defensive side of the football like to talk and that's an understatement. Led by Richard Sherman and Earl Thomas the Legion of Boom secondary are anchored by those pair of All Pros. Neither of those guys shy away from speaking. During Superbowl XLVIII on Sunday the NFL number one defense took apart the NFL number one offense. Final Score Seattle 43 Denver 8. 35 point margin 3rd largest in Superbowl history. Denver was made to look pedestrian by Seattle. Peyton Manning who won is 5th MVP was flustered throughout the game. The Broncos offensive lineman couldn't keep him clean. Receivers were leveled after catching short routes. Seattle defense beat the Denver offense physically and mentally. Well at least Bruno Mars and Red Hot Chilli Peppers did well at the half !
