Despite Selection Committee March Madness Has No Competition

Every year someone gets snubbed. Who should've been in and who was left out. Or who should be in this region or seeded too high vs. seeded too low. Yet the fans still watch. People still fill out brackets. Money being made. Money being won. Drama playing out like no other. True definition of reality tv on TruTV (when you can find it), TNT, TBS and CBS ! Cinderella's, powerhouses, blue bloods, small conferences, power conferences, emotion and eventually one shining moment every April. 6th day of the 2016 NCAA Tournament and the Madness is still continuing. The beauty of it every year is you know upset city is coming simply don't know who or how or when. In the words of Eminem you only get one shot do not miss your opportunity it only comes once in a lifetime. Those lyrics are symbolic to March Madness as 18-22 year olds (sometimes older) lay it all out on the line and their respective coaching staffs / fan base.

Royals Aim For 3rd Straight World Series Appearance

The Royals defeated the Mets 4-1 to capture the 2015 World Series. It was the organization first Fall Classic championship since 1985 back when Hall Of Famer George Brett was the face of the team. During the 2014 World Series Kansas City lost to San Francisco in Game 7 at home. A total crusher. Yet it was the first playoff appearance and first World Series appearance since 1985. They had a dramatic run in 2014 winning the Wild Card in the American League. Then an epic Wildcard game comeback to advance to the Division Series. In 2015 KC entered Spring Training on a mission. They won the AL Central. Then beat the upstart Houston Astros in the Division Series and advanced to play the Mets in the World Series by finishing off Toronto in the ALCS. This year entering Spring Training this KC ball club are looking for their 3rd straight Fall Classic appearance and looking to repeat as World Series champions. Back 2 Back as Drake would say. One team that will have a say so potentially are those previously mentioned Houston Astros. As well as a handful of other teams in the American League. The bulls eye is certainly on the World Champs back.

Omaha Calls It Quits

A few weeks after the Denver Broncos defeated the Carolina Panthers in a defensive slug fest to win Super Bowl 50, their starting quarterback is retiring. The sheriff which Peyton Manning is also known by is riding of into the sunset. Manning was the number one overall selection by the Indianapolis Colts back in 1997. One of his 1997 NFL Draft classmates defensive back Charles Woodson is also retiring. Manning evened in Superbowl record with the Broncos at 1-1. With the help of John Elway who's now a Denver Broncos executive reverse the Superbowl XLVIII defeat to the Seattle Seahawks. In Indianapolis Peyton Manning split a pair of Superbowl appearances first defeating Chicago then losing to Indianapolis. Little brother Eli Manning of the New York Football Giants and big brother Peyton are tied with 2 Lombardi trophies apiece. Peyton will always be affectively known for calling out the MIKE (opponents middle linebacker) and during pre snap read yelling out Omaha which could be a real audible or fake audible.
