Quarantine meets 1996. During the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, these were the kicks Scottie Pippen rocked. Over at Sports247365 we are major Scottie Pippen fans. We never had these particular Nike Air Uptempo. So when the 2020 version came out, once a website had our size, definitely had to grab them. That summer Pippen was coming off his 4th NBA championship. He would also win his 2nd Olympic gold medal. His Olympic number 8 is on the back of the sneaker.

Over at Sports247365 we stumbled across these beautiful Nike Daybreak SP kicks.

While searching some online websites during the pandemic, over at Sports247365 we stumbled on some loafers. The Chester loafer from Ugg Australia caught our attention. Their was a sale on Nordstrom’s. So we had to make sure they were secured. Summer is coming and they’ll make great attire for the season. They are nice and comfortable. One of the bright spots entertainment wise was the ESPN / Netflix documentary : The Last Dance.
10 episodes, 5 weeks, 5 Sunday nights in April & May was god sent. A documentary on Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls. The documentary literally led up to the Last Dance the 1997-98 Chicago Bulls. Jordan / Pippen / Rodman / Phil Jackson led the way in this series. As well as Steve Kerr / BJ Armstrong / Horace Grant and many opponents. Us over here at Sports247365 happened fo stumble on these socks pictured online. We acquired them from EBay, the socks are made by Stance.
They highlight the Bulls pair of 3 peat championships in the nineties, for 6 total titles. What time is it ?! Game time ! Woo !

1996-97 Bibby / Simon / Arizona / Kicks / Championship

4 seed in the Southeast regional, no one expected the Wildcats of Arizona to win the National Championship. The Wildcats became the first team in tournament history to defeat 3 number one seeds : Kansas, North Carolina and Kentucky. Head Coach brought Tucson it’s first title back to campus. Summer Olympics Put On Hold Until 2021

Due to the pandemic, currently sweeping through the world a decision has been made about the 2020 Olympics. Due to the pandemic and the safety of everyone involved the 2020 Tokyo Summer Olympics, will be postponed until 2021. It was the correct decision to be made by the International Olympic Committee. Too risky to take place later this summer, with everything that’s currently going on medical and health wise throughout the world. Here at Sports247365 we are fans of basketball, track & field and tennis. However we can all wait until next year...next summer : 2021.

Hello to head coach Bruce Arians and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Tampa allowed Jamies Winston to become a free agent. Tom Brady inked a 2 year deal with the Buccaneers. TB12 it will remain that way, as wide receiver Chris Godwin gave his number 12, to the incoming quarterback. Could Tampa and Brady combine to become the first franchise to make a Super Bowl that’s played in their own stadium ? Super Bowl 55 is set to be played in Tampa, next February.

Atlanta & New Orleans College Basketball Void Left

The slogan for the Final Four over the past few years is : The Road Ends Here.
Due to the pandemic no 2020 men’s or women’s NCAA Final Four games to be played.
No NCAA Tournament to be played. Many conference tournaments weren’t played.
The road was supposed to end in the south. The road was supposed to end in Atlanta and New Orleans respectively for the men and women, student athletes of college basketball. Teams like University of Virginia (men) and Baylor (women) wanted as opportunity to defend as reigning National Champions. Yet for safety purposes for all that are involved, it wasn’t meant to be.
2020 was March Madness took place just not from a basketball standpoint. It took place from a pandemic standpoint. No college basketball fan will take for granted March Madness again.

2018 National Champions x Where Are They Now

Two years have passed since the Villanova Wildcats, won their 3rd National Championship in school history. Villanova took care of business in San Antonio, Texas in April 2018. Defeating Kansas in one National Semifinal and taking care of Michigan in the National Championship Game. National Player Of The Year : Jalen Brunson some how, went in the 2nd round of the 2018 NBA Draft. He was selected by the Dallas Mavericks, which is the team he currently plays for. Mikal Bridges won the Julius Erving award in 2018 as college basketball top small forward. After being drafted by the home town Philadelphia 76ers, Bridges switched hats later on during the 2018 NBA Draft. Phoenix made the trade with Philadelphia. Mikal is currently playing for the Suns and is a do it all : Swiss Army knife on both ends of the floor. Donte DiVincenzo became the MOP of the 2018 NCAA Final Four. He scored a championship game record 31 points off the bench vs. Michigan. Donte was a 2018 first round draft pick of the Milwaukee Bucks. Who has the NBA best record even with the stoppage of the 2019-20 NBA season. DiVincenzo is a key contributor off the Bucks bench. Due to injury it’s a year of rebuilding in San Francisco. Eric Paschall was a glue guy for the 2018 title team. The following season Eric became the focal point of the Villanova offense. During the 2019 NBA Draft he became a second round pick of the Warriors. Paschall has taken full opportunity to showcase his talents in the Bay Area.

Prayers up to Vanessa and the girls as well as the many friends and family members from all the others that were on the helicopter that Sunday morning.

I’m Going To Kansas City Kansas City Here I Come

50 years in the making for the Kansas City Chiefs organization. 50 years since their last Super Bowl appearance. 50 years since their last Super Bowl win. Last Sunday in Miami Gardens at Hard Rock Stadium in the NFL 100th season the Chiefs defeated the San Francisco 49ers 31-20. Here at Sports 247365 we almost had an identical prediction with Kansas City winning 31-21. By the way the title of this article comes from a song sang by Michael Jackson & the Jackson Five. Head Coach Andy Reid won his first Super Bowl in 21 years as leading man. He had not been back to the NFL final game in 15 years as his Philadelphia Eagles were defeated 24-21 in Super Bowl XXXIX by the New England Patriots in Jacksonville. Patrick Mahomes threw his 2nd interception of the game midway through the 4th quarter when San s Francisco led 20-10. The regular season MVP of 2018 would lead a comeback for the 3rd time in these playoffs (vs. Texans & vs. Titans) to the tune of 21 unanswered 4th quarter points. He was named Super Bowl LIV MVP. Andy as the Philadelphia Eagles tweeted (as well as the Chiefs organization / city of Kansas City) “Times Yours”.

Touring Sports Venues While In France

Growing up watching the French Open on NBC from Philadelphia, Sports 247365 would always wonder how was it to actually to be at Roland Garros. Well fast forward to late 2019 early 2020 we had an opportunity to see the venue (despite it being under construction for renovations) just north of Paris. We also had an opportunity to view Parc De Princes / Stade France which are basically in the same neighborhood. In Philadelphia it would be our version of Wells Fargo Center, Citizens Bank Park and Lincoln Financial Field being neighbors in one South Philadelphia neighborhood. When seeing Roland Garros our mind immediately thought of Serena and Venus Williams as well as Andre Agassi. All played and one major titles on these historic grounds. Up the street we thought of PSG and their players such as Neymar and Mbappe. Paris is getting ready to host the 2024 Summer Olympics with both venues expected to be in use.

Europe Kicks While In Paris

Friday December 27, 2019 - Friday January 3, 2020 Sports 247365 had an opportunity to travel. Europe was the continent and Paris was the destination. We always desire to pack lightly. With that being said only three pair of sneakers made the trip across the Atlantic Ocean. 1.) Adidas EQT Cushion ADV 2.) Adidas U-Path 3.) Converse All Star High Top.
While walking in the streets of Paris coming from Shinzo, the Adidas U-Path received a France water splash. A puddle of dirty water splashed on the U-Path kicks and since they are white, the stain isn’t easily removable. So it’s almost like a souvenir, a ticket stub to the game on the front of both sneakers. Nonetheless they were very comfortable along with the Adidas EQT ADV. As we all know Chuck Taylor’s are classic. They can be dressed up or down in order to make a statement or fashion look.

PSG Mega Store

Paris Saint German soccer club has two different stores in Paris. While in Paris, Sports 247365 we were able to see both locations. One location is located across from the futbol stadium, on the out skirts of the city just north of Paris. We entered the other location our first day in France : Rue Claude Farrère 75016 Paris. The store was extremely crowded upstairs and down stairs. Several apparel as well as accessories featuring obviously PSG. Whether it was the Nike swoosh or the Jumpan logo their was plenty of merchandise. We kept it simple, purchasing a Jordan x PSG tailwind cap. Shinzo Paris

It’s been nearly a year since our last post. At Sports 247365 we like to thank our followers and let you guys know we’ve missed you. This is our initial post of 2020. Following Christmas 2019 Sports 247365 made a trip to Paris for the first time. We even had the opportunity to celebrate New Years 2020 in France prior to returning to the states. While there Sports 247365 had an opportunity to visit Shinzo Paris, their are multiple locations around the city. Nonetheless we had a chance to visit the 19 Rue Pierre Lescot twice. Picking up items such as : the Adidas Men’s Campus which features pony fur in a black and white color way. A blue New Era 2018 NBA Draft Philadelphia 76ers hat was purchased. The other items had the signature Mitchell & Ness backing : 2001 Philadelphia 76ers black shorts, a dark blue 1992 Dream Team snap back hat, a dark blue David Robinson Dream Team t shirt and red 1991 NBA All Star Game in Charlotte red shorts.
