Will The Turner Trade Help Beat Miami When They Meet Face To Face
During the 2013-14 NBA trade deadline, the Pacers front office led by Larry Bird made a bold move. Sending veteran Danny Granger a former All Star to Philadelphia for upcoming free agent swingman Evan Turner. Indiana took the 2 time NBA defending champion Miami Heat to 7 games in last seasons Eastern Conference Finals. Realistically it is expected that Miami and Indiana will meet again come late May. Turner probably backup Paul George and Lance Stephensen. However ET (as he was known in Philadelphia) can play the PG/SG/SF positions. You may see all 3 guys in the game in at one time depending on how the Pacers coaching staff wants to play it. Turner plays with no fear regardless of the opponent. He most certainly will aid spark and versatility off the Indiana bench. I'm sure in May the question will be asked can Indiana finally knockout the champions and reach the NBA Finals for the 1st time since June 2000.
