Andrew Luck Crashes Peyton Manning Indianapolis Home Coming

The Kansas City Chiefs are the last undefeated team during the current 2013 NFL season. The Kansas City Chiefs lead the AFC West with a 7-0 record. Andrew Luck was drafted with the #1 overall pick of the 2012 NFL Draft. Peyton Manning was released prior to the 2012 season after being the #1 overall pick of the 1998 NFL Draft. Sunday night Lucas Oil Stadium, basically the house that Manning built would be the place where the Denver Broncos his new team would lose their 1st game. Denver tried to rally late but came up short 39-36. Mistakes on offense, defense and special teams hurt the Broncos and helped the Colts spring the upset victory. The fans of Indianapolis gave Peyton Manning the pre game appreciation that he truly deserved. Unfortunately, Peyton former teammate wide receiver Reggie Wayne will be lost for the season with a torn ACL. A win like this could really jump start the Colts season. Hey they went on the road and beat the 49ers and last night beat the Broncos which says plenty. Since both San Francisco and Denver were projected by many to meet in the Superbowl.

How Bout Them Cowboys !!! As They Take NFC East Lead

The running red birds, have the 2nd most World Series titles in MLB history behind obviously the Yankees. Nevertheless the Cardinals own the most World Series titles in the National League. They will look to revenge their 2004 World Series loss vs. Boston in the 2013 Fall Classic. St. Louis just knocked out Texas in the 2011 World Series. Simply an epic series as the Cardinals came back late in Game 6 and Game 7 respectively with late inning heroics to capture the ultimate prize. Rookie pitcher Michael Wacha has pitched lights out down the 2013 postseason. The kid was named the 2013 NLCS MVP. The Cardinals just fine a way to win regardless of who the hero may be. Wednesday Game 1 takes pace in Boston, let the games begin !

Life Is Grand In Boston Thanks To Victorino & Ortiz

The Boston Red Sox are heading to the 2013 World Series. Boston has gone from worst in 2012 to first in 2013 in the AL East. Boston won the division, then they beat Tampa Bay in the Division Series. Now the Red Sox go on to defeat the Tigers 4-2 to win the AL Pennant. Boston was shut out at home in Game 1 of the ALCS during Game 2 it looked bleak at Fenway Park. Their was a possibility of Boston heading back to Detroit down 0-2. Then David Ortiz blasted a game tying Grand Slam in the 7th inning and the Red Sox would win it in the 9th on a walk off hit. Those late inning heroics tied the series 1-1 but more importantly seized momentum for Beantown. Saturday evening, Detroit trying to force a Game 7 down 1-0 took a 2-1 lead in the 6th inning. Hey Chip Kelly Vick or Foles In Our Andy Reid Voice Times Yours

Chip Kelly said when he was hired in January from the University of Oregon their would be an open competition at quarterback. During OTA's, Training Camp and Pre Season the 2nd year kid out of Arizona would battle it out with the veteran from Virginia Tech. After 2 games in August Kelly named Michael Vick the starting quarterback in Philadelphia as they prepared for the season opener vs. Washington. Eagles offense looked great in the 1st half of the opening game in DC led by Vick. They looked pretty good in a 3 point home loss to San Diego. However when Kansas City came to town that flat out struggled and couldn't get it in gear during the massacre defeat in Denver. The passing game in New York struggled early on vs. the Giants however Vick took off a ran and kept the Philadelphia offense afloat. Then on a run that picked up a 1st down Vick grabbed his hamstring, tried to gut it out but simply couldn't. The Philadelphia offense was struggling in the red zone through 4 1/2 games. Foles took over in that Giants game and threw 2 touchdowns helping the Eagles defeat the Giants. Vick was ruled out at Tampa and Foles threw for 3 touchdowns and ran for another. Philadelphia won and has gone from 1-3 to 3-3 tied for 1st place in the division. Next Sunday Dallas comes to town, with out right claims to 1st place at stake. Chip Kelly has a decision to make, whether Mike Vick is healthy or not. Foles has yet to turn the football over in the last game and a half and was able to produce in the red zone. Let's see how this plays out. Several fans in Philadelphia has been asking for Nick Foles prior to the hamstring injury Vick suffered.

Air Jordan X Steel Release Coming Soon

The year was 1994-95 and for the 1st part of that particular NBA campaign Michael Jordan was retired from the game of basketball. Jordan instead was playing baseball. Many NBA players wore various colorways of the Air Jordan X that season. By the time Michael Jordan came back in March of 1995 he was wearing the Chicago colorway of the 10's. I can't recall his Airness actually wearing the Steel X's during an actual game that season. Nevertheless this colorway was last released in 2005. I actually had a pair. I gave them away after having them for about 6 years and still in solid condition. One of my high school basketball players would always asked me could he have them during practice. Yeah we're talking about practice ! So during the 2011-12 season I gave them to him. Shortly after I purchased the Chicago X's. That's the main reason why next week I won't be adding the Steel colorway to my collection. However I'm sure on Saturday October 12th many people will. It's a tremendous sneaker, that you can dress up or down because of the particular colorway.

Seahawks Simply Find Ways To Get The Job Done

It isn't always pretty for the Seattle Seahawks, nevertheless over the past 2 seasons the mighty birds from the Pacific Northwest find ways to win. The numbers especially on offense mainly in the passing game don't always catch your attention, however 2nd year QB Russell Wilson knows how to lead his team to victory. Seattle will enter Week 5 (4-0) as the head to Indianapolis to take on the Colts. The Seahawks have knocked off Carolina, San Francisco, Jacksonville and Houston in a thrilling come from behind overtime victory last week on the road. Seattle has a great defense and the secondary is spectacular, highlighted by Richard Sherman, Earl Thomas, Kam Chancellor and Brandon Browner. On offense Pete Carroll squad grinds it out running the football with rugged veteran Marshawn Lynch. Last season Seattle lost to Atlanta in the Division Playoffs, this year their looking to advance further by earning a trip to New York City for the Superbowl in February

Defensive Has Led Chiefs To 4-0 Start

Safety Eric Berry, Linebacker Derrick Johnson and Defensive Lineman Justin Houston & Tamba Hali has helped Kansas City double up their 2012 win total already. Andy Reid came in to coach the Chiefs after 14 seasons in Philadelphia. Kansas City will head into Tennessee during their Week 5 match up 4-0. Beating Jacksonville, Dallas, Philadelphia and the New York Football Giants along the way. The formula is simple yet affective. QB Alex Smith came over from San Francisco and he makes smart decisions with the football. Jamal Charles leads the team in rushing and receptions. Dexter McCluster is a threat in the return game and basically ended the Giants game with a 4th quarter punt return of a touchdown. Clearly the Denver Broncos (no surprise) and Kansas City Chiefs are the class of the AFC West. Kansas City is playing lights out defense, through 4 weeks 2nd in the NFL in defensive points per game (10.2 and 1st in the league in giveaway/takeaway margin (+9). It'll be interesting to see how far Kansas City can go this season. Outside of major injuries who knows...this formula shows it can work and that they'll always be in games.
