Brees & Wilson To Meet On MNF In A Game That Could Decide Home Field Advantage

Quarterback Drew Brees will lead the 9-2 New Orleans Saints into Qwest Field. They will take on quarterback Russell Wilson and the 10-1 Seattle Seahawks. Which obviously will be a huge step for the winner of this Monday Night Football showdown in securing home field advantage throughout the NFC Playoffs. The Superdome and Qwest Field are two of the toughest and most dangerous places for opposing teams to come into play. Now we know come tournament time every team is 0-0 however if your a fan of the Saints or Seahawks you have to feel great if you don't have to leave your home stadium unless you reach the Superbowl. Experts will ask can New Orleans win in Seattle ? or Can Seattle win in New Orleans ? Well come Monday Night at least one of those questions will be answered. Simply sit back and enjoy the game.

Portland In The West & Indiana In The East Are Off To Blazing Starts

Last season Miami and San Antonio battled for 7 hard fought games during the NBA Finals and entering Black Friday 2013 the Heat are 12-3 with an 8 game winning streak. The Spurs are 13-2 and has won 9 out of their last 10. However early on the Portland Trailblazers a team who was in the Western Conference playoff picture until the final couple of weeks last season are 13-3. Indiana who took Miami to 7 games during last season Eastern Conference Finals are a current NBA best 14-1. Now we know during an 82 game NBA season it's a marathon not a sprint. We will have to see who will be standing in April, May and June. The Trailblazers are led by Damian Lillard last seasons R.O.Y and All Star big man LaMarcus Aldridge. Indiana has got terrific play out of Paul George and improved play out of Lance Stephenson.

This Week Head Coaches Mike Tomlin & Jason Kidd Tried To 'Help' Their Teams

Future Hall Of Fame point guard Jason Kidd recently retired from the NBA. Now he is the head coach of the 4-11 Brooklyn Nets. Earlier this week at the Barclays Center Kidd 'intentionally' spilled his water with no time outs remaining. While ball boys rushed to the Nets bench to clean up the spill, Kidd utilized that opportunity to draw up a play for his team. The LA Lakers hung on to win the game. The NBA investigated the spill and Kidd has been fined $50,000. Earlier this season he was suspended because of a DUI charge from this past summer. Kidd and his Nets team must get it together and get it together quickly. Meanwhile on Thanksgiving Night down at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, the Ravens took on AFC North rival Pittsburgh. Baltimore would go on to win and hold off the Steelers come back attempt. However during a Ravens punt return early in the 4th quarter it would appear Mike Tomlin interfered with Jacoby Jones. Jones was forced back inside as the Steelers made the tackle, if not for Tomlin brief on field interference Jones could have gone all the way. Replays showed Tomlin laughing about what he did. The NFL probably will investigate the play.

Broncos Hand Chiefs 1st Loss Of The Season

Andy Reid the 1st year Kansas City Chiefs coach led his team into Denver 9-0, looking for a 2 game lead over their AFC West Rivals. Peyton Manning walked out of Invesco Field at Mile High with a 27-17 win now both Denver and Kansas City are both tied with 9-1 records. However due to their Sunday Night victory, the Broncos are atop the division. Chiefs fans no need to panic, because in 2 weeks Denver comes to Arrowhead for meeting number 2 in a span of 3 weeks. Alex Smith the 1st year Chiefs quarterback along with Reid will need to collaborate opening the passing game up a little more. Especially against a team like the Broncos. That game in 2 weeks will be huge Denver can put a strangle hold on the division or the Chiefs can get revenge. One of these teams will finish with double digit wins this season and have to go on the road during the playoffs, where one of these teams could have home field advantage throughout the playoffs. Denver will travel to New England next Sunday Night to take on the Patriots.

Giants & Eagles Will Decide NFC East

The 2013 NFL season through 11 weeks has been extremely unpredictable. Meanwhile back at the ranch, the NFC East has probably been the worst division in football. The New York Football Giants started the season 0-6, now they have defeated Minnesota, Philadelphia, Oakland and Green Bay. Philadelphia coming off a 4-12 season, a first year NFL coach in Chip Kelly, an open quarterback competition between Nick Foles & Michael Vick during training camp, from Vick to Foles to Vick to Barkley back to Foles now 1st place at 6-5 after winning 3 straight vs. Oakland, Green Bay and Washington. Philadelphia will have a Week 12 bye meanwhile the Giants will host the Cowboys. If New York wins that will be 5 straight victories which would tie Dallas with a 5-6 record. Dallas obviously has the talent to win the division, however they are injured right now especially with Dez Bryant and DeMarcus Ware. Washington doesn't seem to be on the same page especially with RGIII and the Shanahan's. Which leads me to believe the 2013-14 NFC East champion will come from New York or Philadelphia. Down the stretch they come during the last month and a half of the regular season.

Foles Ties NFL Record With 7 Touchdown Passes

Nick Foles couldn't lead the Eagles to an offensive touchdown a few weeks ago. He struggled big time in a home loss to Dallas. To make matters worse Foles left the game in the 4th quarter of the game with a concussion. Foles played horrible during the Cowboys game, yes his receivers dropped a few passes nevertheless more times than not he couldn't or wouldn't pull the trigger. Nick Foles the 2nd year quarterback out of the University of Arizona would miss the Giants game. Michael Vick tried to come back from his hamstring injury and aggravated it once again. Rookie quarterback Matt Barkley from USC was thrown into action once again as Philadelphia didn't score an offensive touchdown in another home loss. Leading up to the Raiders game out in Oakland, Foles was cleared to play. Watching the game Sunday each touchdown throw seemed surreal when Nick reached his final total of 7, all before the 4th quarter. Foles only had 6 in completions and over 400 yards throwing. Now Nick Foles has been named NFC Offensive Player Of The Week for the 2nd time this season. Now the debate presents itself again in Philadelphia, once Vick is healthy which quarterback will start for Chip Kelly ? Meanwhile all of Nick Foles gear from Sunday's game will be shipped off to Canton, OH and the Pro Football Hall Of Fame.

Ortiz & Victorino Clutch Hitting Help Red Sox Win World Series

David Ortiz all series long during the 2013 Fall Classic racked up several walks, when the St. Louis Cardinals actually pitched to the man known as Big Papi he laced extra base hit after extra base hit. Shane Victorino missed Games 4 & 5 in St. Louis due to injury. Yet as the Red Sox returned home for Game 6 with a 3-2 series lead and looking to clinch 1st World Series at home for the first time since 1918, Shane would be in the starting lineup. Victornio 5 years removed from being a World Champion with the Philadelphia Phillies delivered with 4 RBI's to help Boston win Game 6 and defeat St. Louis to win their 3rd title since 2004. Obviously the Red Sox wanted to help the healing of the city after the Marathon bombings earlier this season. All season long as Boston went from worse to first from 2012 to World Series champions in 2013 these players stayed BostonStrong. On Wednesday night Fenway Park turned into one big party. Nearly 100 years since the BoSox last clinched in their home park, was definitely a special moment. Along with his 3rd World Series title Big Papi collected the MVP trophy for his play in the series.

Jordan V Laney Back For The 1st Time Since 2000

On Saturday November 2, 2013 Jordan Brand released the Air Jordan 5 Laney. This particular sneaker has not been released since April of 2000. I personally had 2 pairs of those Laney 5's back in 2000. At the age of 18 I had to have them, especially with the colorway dating back to Michael Jordan high school in North Carolina. Fast forward to 2013 more fans wanted a piece of these Laney 5's compared to the folks back in 2000. I like the Air Jordan 5s my favorite colorways are the Bred & Grape ! I didn't attempt to get a 2013 pair of Laney's for those who have, certainly enjoy the new edition to your collection. It will be interesting to see which NBA and NCAA players wear these particular Air Jordans on the court this season. Jordan Brand is set to retro the Air Jordan XII Taxi on November 16, 2013.
