T.O Next Destination Is

In recent days prior to NFL Training Camp 2010, Terrell Owens has been rumored to be involved with the St. Louis Rams, Cincinnati Bengals and now the New York Jets. However over the past few hours the Rams have lost interest. Bengals quarterback Carson Palmer has been working out in California with Owens, sources said. Now the New York Jets who have aquired veterans this offseason such as Cromartie, Tomlinson, Holmes, Taylor just to name a few. Jets coming off an AFC Championship Game appearance vs. Indianapolis, were lead by pair of rookies quarterback Mark Sanchez and head coach Rex Ryan. Could you imagine Owens playing with the Bengals next to Ochocinco or even in the Big Apple, with the Jets with a head coach who isn't afraid of the spotlight either. I'm sure it'll be an interesting next few days whether Owens could end up in the AFC North with the Bengals, the division defending champions or New York. The Jets will appear on HBO Hard Knocks this summer which would be up T.O alley. After suspension of Holmes New York could have a recieving core of Braylon Edwards, T.O, Holmes and Cotchrey, also young TE Keller. This would be a major upgrade for a team that finished nearly last in NFL pass yards per game a season ago, while leading the league in rushing yards per game.

Chris Paul Wants To Exit New Orleans

Chris Paul has witnessed his friend and former Olympic teammate Lebron James exit the Cleveland Cavaliers after seven seasons to play along side Wade and Bosh for the Miami Heat. Paul would like to move as well, however via trade. He's listed the New York Knicks, Los Angeles Lakers & recently Orlando Magic as teams he would like to play for. Contenders was the word he used New York currently doesn't fit that description, nevertheless the two time defeating Los Angeles Lakers does, ditto for Orlando who appeared in 2009 NBA Finals. Paul feels like if the Hornets aren't attempting to become a contender under first year coach Monty Williams, he would like to take his talents elsewhere. Paul arguably the NBA best point guard played with Kobe Lebron Wade Bosh & Howard in China during 2008 Olympics, winning the gold medal as well. If Paul does leave New Orleans it'll be interesting to see which team lands him and how that would affect the balance of powers in the East or West and overall NBA. It's simply another story during current NBA offseason which has become a soap opera, As The World Turns.

Bobby Cox has managed for 32 years overall, 3 for Toronto Blue Jays and during 2 separate stints with Atlanta for a total of 29 years, once the 2010 season is complete, Cox will retire into the sunset. Cox has managed the Braves to a 1995 World Series title vs. Cleveland, more than a decade of success during consecutive seasons in which Atlanta won division titles and several Fall Classic appearances. However during 2010 season the Braves currently lead the defending 3 time NL East & 2 time defending NL Pennant champion Phillies by 6 games, Philadelphia is currently in 3rd place and lead 2ND place New York Mets by 3 games. Could Cox final season end up making the playoffs, his closer Billy Wagner announced this would be his final season as well, who knows for long time Brave slugger Chipper Jones, who's battled injuries during the season and in past seasons as well. Now the team will head to New York to take on the Mets, prior to the All Star break.
