Young - Stroud - Richardson : It’s Go Time

 As the 2023 NFL season approaches week one, their will be 3 starting quarterbacks to begin the season. Bryce Young from Alabama the reigning number one overall pick for the Carolina Panthers. 

Joining him will be fellow first round draft picks CJ Stroud of Ohio State now of the Houston Texans.

Also from the University of Florida and now the Indianapolis Colts, Anthony Richardson.

All three have first year head coaches. Reich in Carolina was a head coach in Indianapolis, this is his first season with the Panthers. 

Definitely like the approach of learning through playing.

 Many ask prior to the start of the 2023 NFL season : What will be the Eagles record ? You hear anywhere from : 12-5 to 13-4 to 14-3 like a season ago, despite the complexity of the schedule.

Here at Sports247365 we believe it needs to be whatever number of wins it takes to solidify the NFC number one overall seed which comes with a first round bye.

In 2004 under Andy Reid, in 2017 under Doug Pederson and in 2022 under Nick Sirianni each led Philadelphia to Super Bowl appearances respectively.

In those 3 seasons the road to the Super Bowl, on the NFC side of the bracket came through South Philadelphia and Lincoln Financial Field. 

That will be a big key for Philadelphia this season, despite playoff their being no guarantees. 

76ers Please Blow It Up & Keep Mr. New Balance

 During the 2022-23 NBA season, the 76ers young combo guard Tyrese Maxey signed an endorsement deal with New Balance. Later that season another New Balance endorser : Jamal Murray ( who also attended the University of Kentucky like Maxey ) help the Nuggets win their first NBA title. 

Philadelphia had a 3-2 series lead in round two vs. Boston with Game 6 at home. Within the final 4 minutes they allowed the Celtics to force a Game 7 up there.

Welp Philadelphia was only down 3 at halftime. Yet Boston blitzed them in the 3rd in route to a blowout win & advancing to the conference finals. 

2001 last time the 76ers have advanced and past round two. Even prior to the last 1-2 weeks of recent Harden / Morey soap opera here at Sports247365, we’ve stated after Boston series blow it up & keep Maxey.

Yes that means even moving the reigning league MVP, Harden and anyone else. Why ? Because in Philadelphia the championship window is over.

Make Maxey someone who loves the game and would play for free the face of the franchise affective immediately ! 

Zero Sympathy For Harden Or Morey

 The moment Daryl Morey was hired in Philadelphia rumors about his pal James Harden from their time in Houston, were out there.

It took disgruntled behavior from Ben Simmons to finally make it happened. By the time Harden had made a big enough fuss to get out of Houston to Brooklyn.

A year and a half ago Harden fussed his way out of Brooklyn. Music to Morey’s ears. 76ers & Brooklyn made a deal centered around Harden for Simmons. A year and a half later Harden wants out of Philadelphia.

Because he hasn’t received the contract extension he desired. And when asked to be traded Philadelphia hasn’t received the deal they desire. Maybe during the season the former Houston BFFs had a handshake deal for an extension. Maybe ownership vetoed it.

Man the player and the personal guy : team wise neither won anything while in Houston. Thus far it’s the same in Philadelphia. Opposed to this soap opera, once Boston eliminated Philadelphia here at Sports247365 we thought the 76ers should keep Maxey and blow the rest of the team up via trade etc…

Because the championship window is over !

College Football Conference Realignment : Must Be The Money

 During the 1994-95 NFL season Deion Sanders helped the 49ers win their last Super Bowl ( XXIX ).

During the 1995-96 NFL season Deion Sanders helped the Cowboys win their last Super Bowl ( XXX ).

In between that time off the field Prime Time recorded a record & one of the singles / music videos were “Must Be The Money”. 

The Pac 12 as well as the Big 12 will change drastically following the upcoming 2023 season. Where will coach Prime and his Buffaloes land ?

The Big Ten will be receiving teams from the Pac 12 which is on the other side of the country.

Here at Sports247365 growing up the Rose Bowl representing champions of the Pac (Ten) and Big Ten would square off on New Year’s Day. That’s our all time favorite Bowl. Who knows what that game will look like after major realignment.
