No Melo No Problem In New Jersey As They Deal For Williams

New Jersey didn't land Carmelo Anthony New York did. However the Nets did make a trade acquiring Jazz point guard and All Star Deron Williams. New Jersey will now try to ink Williams to a contract extension this summer. Williams can become a free agent after the 2011 season. Utah will receive rookie Derrick Favors and point guard Devin Harris in return. This deal comes about two weeks after Deron Williams and former Utah head coach Jerry Sloan had their final argument. Sloane after 20 plus seasons in Utah, retired from the Jazz. Where do both franchises go from here? Will Utah make the Western Conference playoffs? Can Williams make a difference in New Jersey long term?
