Melo Drama Over Former Nugget Becomes New Knick

Carmelo Anthony has been a Denver Nugget since 2003. Anthony has been the face of the Nuggets franchise for 8 seasons after winning a National Championship, during his freshmen season at Syracuse University. Anthony will be back in the state of New York as a player, this time he will play his home games at the Worlds Most Famous Arena, Madison Square Garden. Denver figured they had to get someone in return for Anthony, Carmelo may have opted out of his contract this summer and become a free agent. Along with Anthony Denver sent Chauncey Billups to New York. Denver recieved Danilo Gallinari, Raymond Felton and Wilson Chandler. Where do the Nuggets go from here? How far can New York go from here? Now Carmelo is a Knick along with Amare, will the team make a play next season for the point guard talents of Chris Paul or Deron Williams? Only time will tell. Anthony has inked a 3 year extension with New York along with the trade.
