It was a given Andrew Luck and Robert Griffin III, the top two selections during the April NFL Draft would become starters immediately. Luck came from Stanford, while RG3 came from Baylor. Mr. Griffin won the Heisman Trophy as well. Now unlike previous years in the National Football League, rookie quarterbacks aren't learning from holding a clipboard on the sideline, they are playing. During NFL Week One those guys will be joined by Ryan Tannehill in Miami, Russell Wilson in Seattle and Brandon Weeden in Cleveland. None of those teams mentioned appeared in the NFL playoffs last season. It will be intriguing to see which young quarterback can lead his team to the most wins. Last season Andy Dalton as a rookie quarterback started from day one and led the Bengals to the postseason. Cam Newton set all types of rookie records in Carolina, however he must improve on his turnovers and defensively the Panthers must get better as a unit.
