Clearly replay showed Galarraga beat Donald to the first base bag after receiving the throw from Miguel Cabrera the Tigers first basemen. Fans couldn't believe the obvious missed call, Tigers announcers couldn't believe the missed call as well. Joyce apologized after the game, one in which Detroit won after following batter was retired. Commissioner Bud Selig said the call will stand and he will not overturn the safe call.
