2018 National Champions x Where Are They Now

Two years have passed since the Villanova Wildcats, won their 3rd National Championship in school history. Villanova took care of business in San Antonio, Texas in April 2018. Defeating Kansas in one National Semifinal and taking care of Michigan in the National Championship Game. National Player Of The Year : Jalen Brunson some how, went in the 2nd round of the 2018 NBA Draft. He was selected by the Dallas Mavericks, which is the team he currently plays for. Mikal Bridges won the Julius Erving award in 2018 as college basketball top small forward. After being drafted by the home town Philadelphia 76ers, Bridges switched hats later on during the 2018 NBA Draft. Phoenix made the trade with Philadelphia. Mikal is currently playing for the Suns and is a do it all : Swiss Army knife on both ends of the floor. Donte DiVincenzo became the MOP of the 2018 NCAA Final Four. He scored a championship game record 31 points off the bench vs. Michigan. Donte was a 2018 first round draft pick of the Milwaukee Bucks. Who has the NBA best record even with the stoppage of the 2019-20 NBA season. DiVincenzo is a key contributor off the Bucks bench. Due to injury it’s a year of rebuilding in San Francisco. Eric Paschall was a glue guy for the 2018 title team. The following season Eric became the focal point of the Villanova offense. During the 2019 NBA Draft he became a second round pick of the Warriors. Paschall has taken full opportunity to showcase his talents in the Bay Area.
