Growing up watching the French Open on NBC from Philadelphia, Sports 247365 would always wonder how was it to actually to be at Roland Garros. Well fast forward to late 2019 early 2020 we had an opportunity to see the venue (despite it being under construction for renovations) just north of Paris. We also had an opportunity to view Parc De Princes / Stade France which are basically in the same neighborhood. In Philadelphia it would be our version of Wells Fargo Center, Citizens Bank Park and Lincoln Financial Field being neighbors in one South Philadelphia neighborhood. When seeing Roland Garros our mind immediately thought of Serena and Venus Williams as well as Andre Agassi. All played and one major titles on these historic grounds. Up the street we thought of PSG and their players such as Neymar and Mbappe. Paris is getting ready to host the 2024 Summer Olympics with both venues expected to be in use.
