Britnney Griner & Anthony Davis Make History While Winning National Championships

Britnney Griner added a National Championship to her ever building resume. Tuesday night in Denver, Baylor took apart Notre Dame to become the 2012 NCAA Women's Basketball Championship. Monday evening in New Orleans Kentucky freshman Anthony Davis added a National Championship to his resume. Kentucky defeated Kansas, giving Coach Cal his first ever title. Griner & Davis both won National Player Of Year awards this season, now capped their seasons off with the ultimate team goal. Baylor became the first college basketball team (men or women) to complete a season 40-0. No female player has ever left early for the WNBA Draft. Questions remain will Griner exit Baylor as a Junior to enter the draft. Davis has been rumored all season to be the first pick in the NBA draft, if he opts to leave Kentucky after his freshmen season.
