Reggie Bush Goes From Giving Up Heisman Trophy To Leg Fracture In A Week

Reggie Bush during the week leading up to the Saints vs. 49ers Monday Night Football game relinquished the 2005 Heisman Trophy he won at USC. The Trojans may have to forfeit games, give back BCS Bowl money etc according to reports. Some say Reggie Bush was ineligible to play and may have taken money from an agent to support his family, however no one truly knows until it's fully investigated. Rumors were swirling that the Heisman committee would take the trophy back, prior to Reggie giving it back. Bush and the Saints defeated the 49ers on the strength of 4 San Francisco turnovers, then kicking the game winning FG with no time left for the 25-22 win, in the city by the bay. Bush left in the 3rd quarter with a leg injury, as a cart took him to the locker from for xrays. If Bush truly has a fibula injury, it'll be interesting to see how much time he'll miss. More importantly how will it affect the Saints offense and special teams return games respectively.
