Boise State & TCU Pair Of Top Ten Teams Earn Victories VS. BCS Conference Schools

During the opening week of the 2010 college football season, their were a pair of top ten teams, who aren't in BCS Conferences, taking on opponents from those power conferences on national television.
Saturday in Arlington,TX at Cowboys Stadium #4 TCU played Oregon State of the Pacific 10 Conference. Monday in Landover,MD at FedEx Field #3 Boise State played Virginia Tech of the ACC Conference, basically a home game for the Hokies, opposed to a neutral site venue. TCU defeated Oregon State 24-19. Boise State defeated VA Tech 33-30. Both teams are looking to work their way up the BCS Standings with an oppotunity to play in college football BCS National Championship Game in January. Nevertheless teams don't want to play at either teams venue, especially BSU. The Broncos and Horn Frogs have appeared in BCS Bowl games in years past, now they are looking for the respect and chance to play for the title. Even if both teams finish the season undefeated will the voters, give them the shot they desire. Usually the title chances go to the BCS Conferences such as Big Ten, Pac Ten, ACC, Big East and SEC.
