Meaning stop taking it personal. Owens obviously had his ways about him as a player...right, wrong or indifferent. Yet on the field he produced ! In San Francisco/Philadelphia/Dallas/Cincinnati and deserves to get that call that would officially send him to Canton. It's time to give the man his Hall of Fame jacket. Owens didn't get the news he expected Saturday night in Houston, when the class of 2017 was announced. Last year at Superbowl XL Terrell was elected taking away the chance at becoming a first ballot Hall of Fame inductee. Maybe this is the price for standing on the star in Dallas or grabbing pom poms or pulling out a sharpie to sign a football after a touchdown.
