Nike Foamposites Were Labeled Ugly In 1997 / Now They Fly Off The Shelf
When Anfernee 'Penny' Hardaway was healthy during the mid 1990's he was one of the dopest players in the NBA ! He consistently rocked that Nike fire, eventually getting his own sneaker line and beside the Air Jordan line, the Penny line had to be the livest around. Back in 1997 when the 1st pair of Penny Foamposites were released people said the shoe was ugly, they also said it was to expensive at $180. Now as we leave 2013 and enter 2014 regardless of the colorway Foamposite and Foamposite Pro don't stay on the shelf for too long. Their are a demand a craze for them. The cheapest retail price for them is around $200-$225. People that desire sneakers brave the elements for Jordan's and Foams more than they do for Lebron's, Kobe's or Durant's. Man how times have changed in the sneaker industry. I own 1 pair of Foams the Orlando Magic road colorway of Black & Royal Blue.
