How The NFC South Will Be Won
As Week 16 draws near, the Carolina Panthers and New Orleans Saints will do battle in Charlotte,NC. What will basically be the NFC South Championship Game. Both squads enter the game with a 10-4 record not only looking to win the division but get a grip on the number 2 seed in the NFC. That 2nd seed is huge joining the Seattle Seahawks with a bye week during the opening round of the postseason. Two weeks ago Drew Brees led the Saints to a win over Cam Newton and the Panthers in the Superdome. If they can win Sunday down in Carolina and sweep the season series that will rap the division title up. However if Cam Newton can lead his team to victory they'll reek the benefits of having the inside track to the division title and opening round bye. The surprising Arizona Cardinals who head to Seattle to play the Seahawks are 9-5 on the outside looking in on the Wild Card picture, yet still in the hunt. If Arizona can win they will have a 10-5 record like the loser of Carolina/New Orleans. Which could play a role on who's in and who's out a week from now.
