Donovan McNabb went from coming off a bye week in which he was benched the week prior versus Detroit, to signing a contract extension Monday afternoon prior to Monday Night Football versus the Eagles. The 59-28 loss didn't sit well with McNabb or the Redskins. Washington dipped below .500 with a 4-5 record and are 2-1 in the NFC East. Reports have surfaced the deal that was reported as 5 years $78 million and $40 million quaranteed, has an opt out clause after this season. If McNabb is released following the 2010 season, Washington would only owe him $3.75 million. It'll be interesting to see how McNabb and Washington finishes the final seven games of the season. McNabb threw for 295 yards versus Philadelphia and two touchdowns, nevertheless he also had three interceptions, including one for a touchdown.
