The moment Daryl Morey was hired in Philadelphia rumors about his pal James Harden from their time in Houston, were out there.
It took disgruntled behavior from Ben Simmons to finally make it happened. By the time Harden had made a big enough fuss to get out of Houston to Brooklyn.
A year and a half ago Harden fussed his way out of Brooklyn. Music to Morey’s ears. 76ers & Brooklyn made a deal centered around Harden for Simmons. A year and a half later Harden wants out of Philadelphia.
Because he hasn’t received the contract extension he desired. And when asked to be traded Philadelphia hasn’t received the deal they desire. Maybe during the season the former Houston BFFs had a handshake deal for an extension. Maybe ownership vetoed it.
Man the player and the personal guy : team wise neither won anything while in Houston. Thus far it’s the same in Philadelphia. Opposed to this soap opera, once Boston eliminated Philadelphia here at Sports247365 we thought the 76ers should keep Maxey and blow the rest of the team up via trade etc…
