During the 2022-23 NBA season, the 76ers young combo guard Tyrese Maxey signed an endorsement deal with New Balance. Later that season another New Balance endorser : Jamal Murray ( who also attended the University of Kentucky like Maxey ) help the Nuggets win their first NBA title.

Welp Philadelphia was only down 3 at halftime. Yet Boston blitzed them in the 3rd in route to a blowout win & advancing to the conference finals.
