In the Delaware Valley as training camp begins for the NFC Champion Philadelphia Eagles the fans will let anyone know : the goal following 38-35 defeat vs. Kansas City in February.
The goal is to get back to the Super Bowl. In public the organization & players won’t say it. Nonetheless privately thats the expectation. Especially barring major injury particularly at the quarterback position.
In Super Bowl LVI an opportunity to win the franchise 2nd Lombardi trophy was missed. For a multitude of reasons especially in the 2nd half, which had nothing to do with the field / playing conditions.
Las Vegas is where the team wants to be next February, that’s goal and destination. This season along that journey Philadelphia will face the AFC East, the defending champions in Kansas City, a rematch of the NFC Championship Game vs. San Francisco and obviously Dallas twice.
