Emotional Post Game Champion Presser
JR Smith came into the NBA straight out of high school. He became the 18th pick in round 1 of the 2004 NBA Draft. The then New Orleans Hornets took Smith out of St. Benedict's Prep (NJ). Smith now is a NBA veteran. He's had several ups and downs during his career. JR Smith has played for 4 NBA teams and even won NBA Sixth Man of the year award in 2013. This is Smith 2nd straight trip to the NBA Finals last year Cleveland lost to Golden State. This year Cleveland came back from a 3-1 series deficit. Smith three point shooting and perimeter defense was key. Following Game 7 in Oakland his post game press conference as a world champion was very emotional. Smith following the NBA Finals win made news because he had not worn a shirt in several days following the title clinching victory. Smith opted out following the NBA Finals. He is now a free agent. Smith addressed how is mom and dad raised him. Also how is parents raised his siblings as well. JR Smith hugged his father after the press conference on Father's Day. It certainly will be a day and moment neither will forget. A real moment far as the emotional media session a serial moment as a NBA champion.
