2016 Cleveland City Of Champions For The 1st Time Since 1964
Legendary running back and arguably the greatest football player of all time led the Cleveland Browns to the 1964 NFL Championship. That would be the last championship for the city of Cleveland. Since then the Browns have had playoff disappointments : The Drive / The Fumble standout. The Indians most recently lost a pair of 7 game World Series to Atlanta and Florida. The Cavaliers last season went down in defeat to Golden State. Back in 2007 Cavaliers were swept by the Spurs. ESPN 30 for 30 became true Believeland. After being down 3-1 vs. Golden State it seemed like de ja vu all over again. However the Cavaliers became the 1st team to win the NBA title after being down 3-1. Lebron James won another NBA Finals MVP and helped bring a title to the city and state. James also made history by becoming the 1st player ever to lead both teams in the Finals in points, rebounds, assists, steals and blocks. 3 days later following their historic victory in Oakland the Cavaliers had their championship victory parade. It was one big party in the city of Cleveland.
