Lebron Post Up Heat Pound The Paint Take 2-1 ECF Lead Over Pacers
Lebron James scored 18 of his 22 points in the first half on Sunday. All 5 Miami starters scored in double figures : Wade scored 18 points, Chalmers 14 points, Bosh 15 points including 2 three point field goals and Haslem scored 17 points including many corner jump shots. Birdman went 4 for 4 off the Miami bench for 9 points and has not missed a shot this series. Indiana led by George, Hibbert, Hill and West outplayed Miami in the 1st two games of the series, yet could only come up with a 1-1 split heading home. Miami led by James completely dominated the game. The Heat scored 34 1st quarter points vs. the Pacers defense and a total of 70 1st half points. Miami cruised to a 114-96 victory. Game 4 in Indiana will take place on Thursday as the Heat look to go up 3-1 before heading back to Miami for Game 5. Paul George played excellent in Miami during the 1st two games of the Eastern Conference Finals, yet struggled in those one on one post situations Sunday vs. James. George only took 10 shots on offense. For James and the Heat it's probably their best team effort since Game 5 of the 2012 NBA Finals when they closed out OKC to win the title. It's difficult to beat Miami 4 times in a series to begin with, it's difficult to deal with the Big 3. Indiana or any opponent are really in trouble when role players are hitting open shots. Let's see what adjustments Indiana will make heading into the next game, because if they don't win the series could end in 5 games.
