Eddie Robinson coached Grambling State University from 1941 to 1997 a span of 57 years. Eddie Robinson passed away April 3, 2007, he was born February 13, 1919. Until this past Fall, Robinson was the NCAA all time winningest coach, until Joe Paterno passed him. Fast forward to July 23, 2012 Eddie Robinson is once again the all time winningest coach. Why ? NCAA sanctions handed down to Penn State include they must vacate wins dating back to 1998. Robinson and Paterno are both deceased. Obviously Penn State has so much more to worry about besides a coaching record. Meanwhile Robinson is back on top and kudos to him Grambling State, also the HBCU family.Monday, July 23, 2012
