NFL Suspends Roethlisberger First Six Games

All the drama began summer 2006 Roethlisberger, Pittsburgh Steelers starting quarterback driving minus a valid Pennsylvania motorcycle license. While in the city of Pittsburgh, Ben minus a helmet crashed head first into a vehicle face first, fractured his jaw and right sinus cavity, which caused the quarterback to lose a pair of teeth, also chipped several others. Bill Cowher at the time was Steelers coach, talked to Roethlisberger about motorcycle safety, former Steelers quarterback Terry Bradshaw who won 4 Super Bowl titles in the 1970's told Ben "to ride motorcylces when you retire" while visiting Steelers training camp, later that summer. Since that time Roethlisberger and Bradshaw haven't had much of a positive relationship, basically the two men can't stand one another. June 2008, while in Lake Tahoe for a celebrity golf tournament Roethlisberger was accused of sexual assault. His accuser bragged to a fellow co-worker that she had consensual sex with the quarterback, possibly even being pregnant. However the co-worker said in affidavit, she wanted to set the story straight. Also she didn't want false allegations to unfairly and unjustly hurt Roethlisbeger. Spring 2010, Milledgeville, GA Roethlisberger hired former Ray Lewis attorney Ed Garland. This comes after the quarterback was accused of unrelated sexual assault inside of a womens restroom at a local nightclub. The accused victim had to visit the hospital. After examination male DNA was found on this college student. Also superficial laseration and bruising in the gential area, while everything else was normal. District Attorney, held a press conference saying "no probable cause". However, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, later suspended the quarterback for the initial six games of the 2010 NFL season, without pay. He'll also be schedule by league to undergo mandatory professional behavior evaluation, counseling and treatment.
