Fans of the WNBA received the Finals matchup they’ve been waiting for since the previous off season.
The New York Liberty vs. the defending WNBA Champion : Las Vegas Aces.
Both organizations locked and loaded with a slew of talent.
Players with extended resumes : whether that’s the professional level, college level and olympic level.
The Aces took the first two games at home, vs. New York in the best of 5 championship series.
When the scene shifted back to Brooklyn, the Liberty faced a must win Game 3. New York won Game 3 to cut into the series lead 2-1.
Going into halftime of Game 4, Las Vegas trailed by double digits. They even trailed going into the 4th quarter. Someone the defending champions led by Aja Wilson made a late comeback. As well as a defensive stop. To avoid a decisive Game 5 back in Las Vegas.
One point Game 4 comeback win, was enough to bring the Aces a second consecutive title.
