League Championship Series Roll On…

We are down to the respective League Championship Series.

In the American League going into Friday, Game 5 is set in Arlington. The defending champion Astros have won two games on the road after dropping first two games at home.

The winner of today’s game will take a 3-2 series lead, then the series returns to Houston.

On the other side of the bracket in the National League

Game 4 will take place on Friday in Phoenix, after Arizona finally won a game in the series, after dropping the first two in Philadelphia. Phillies go into Friday 2-1 series lead. The Diamondbacks are looking to even the series, prior to Game 5 Saturday. 

The Phillies are the defending National League Champions. 

 

Aces Similar To Drake Goes Back 2 Back

 Fans of the WNBA received the Finals matchup they’ve been waiting for since the previous off season.

The New York Liberty vs. the defending WNBA Champion : Las Vegas Aces.

Both organizations locked and loaded with a slew of talent. 

Players with extended resumes : whether that’s the professional level, college level and olympic level.

The Aces took the first two games at home, vs. New York in the best of 5 championship series.

When the scene shifted back to Brooklyn, the Liberty faced a must win Game 3. New York won Game 3 to cut into the series lead 2-1.

Going into halftime of Game 4, Las Vegas trailed by double digits. They even trailed going into the 4th quarter. Someone the defending champions led by Aja Wilson made a late comeback. As well as a defensive stop. To avoid a decisive Game 5 back in Las Vegas.

One point Game 4 comeback win, was enough to bring the Aces a second consecutive title. 

Lillard Trade + Holiday Trades = Make Bucks & Celtics East Favorites

 2021 NBA Champion Jrue Holiday was apart of a 3 team deal. 

Those 3 teams were : Milwaukee, Portland and Phoenix.

Dame Lillard is headed to Milwaukee to team up with Giannis. 

A few days later Holiday was traded to Boston.

These two teams since 2021 have combined for 1 NBA title & 2 NBA Finals appearances : when it comes to Boston & Milwaukee.

In the Eastern Conference the rich get richer.

Barring injury, you can see these teams battling in the spring, for an opportunity to play in the 2024 NBA Finals. 

Lillard finally has an opportunity to become a champion.

USC Wins x Colorado : Was Too Legit To Quit

 

Flip score 41-14 USC led Colorado in the 3rd quarter on Saturday. After reigning Heisman trophy award winner threw 1 of his 6 touchdowns on the day to Brenden Rice. The ex Colorado WR and son of Jerry Rice ! WR Omarion Miller and QB Shedeur Sanders helped ignite a competitive 2nd half for Colorado.

Final score USC 48 - Colorado 41

Nonetheless Coach Prime & his Buffaloes never folded.

Last week at Oregon a 42-6 final, the Buffaloes never scored until the final drive of the game.

USC remains undefeated. Colorado takes their 2nd consecutive defeat, nonetheless they are still working & building in Boulder.
