Vikings Defense Lead NFL Final Undefeated Team Into The Bye
The Purple People Eaters are back ! Currently the Vikings defense only yields 12.6 ppg. No it isn't the 1970's where head coach Bud Grant roamed the sidelines in Minneapolis. Instead it's 2016 where head coach Mike Zimmerman assumes that role. Minnesota defensively is ranked 6th overall in total yards. They are 9th against the pass and 7th vs. the run. Even without the likes of quarterback Teddy Bridgewater long term and running back Adrian Peterson short term, Minnesota is 5-0. The Vikings head into their Week 6 bye as the NFL's only unbeaten team. During Week 5 Philadelphia went down in Detroit and Atlanta took down Denver on the road. Veteran quarterback Sam Bradford has done well guiding the offense. 0 interceptions thrown thus far by Bradford which allows the Vikings defense to do their thing. How far can this Vikings defense take them this season ? Time will tell.
