Royals Aim For 3rd Straight World Series Appearance

The Royals defeated the Mets 4-1 to capture the 2015 World Series. It was the organization first Fall Classic championship since 1985 back when Hall Of Famer George Brett was the face of the team. During the 2014 World Series Kansas City lost to San Francisco in Game 7 at home. A total crusher. Yet it was the first playoff appearance and first World Series appearance since 1985. They had a dramatic run in 2014 winning the Wild Card in the American League. Then an epic Wildcard game comeback to advance to the Division Series. In 2015 KC entered Spring Training on a mission. They won the AL Central. Then beat the upstart Houston Astros in the Division Series and advanced to play the Mets in the World Series by finishing off Toronto in the ALCS. This year entering Spring Training this KC ball club are looking for their 3rd straight Fall Classic appearance and looking to repeat as World Series champions. Back 2 Back as Drake would say. One team that will have a say so potentially are those previously mentioned Houston Astros. As well as a handful of other teams in the American League. The bulls eye is certainly on the World Champs back.
