Led By Paul Molitor Could Twins Take Off Like Last Season Royals ?

During the 2014 season the Kansas City Royals captured the hearts of Kansas City, Missouri. The American League Champions also captured just about everyone else's heart outside of the Bay Area. KC fell just short in 7 games vs. San Francisco. However their run which started in the Wild Card round was memorable. 51 games into the 2015 season rookie manager Paul Molitor (1993 World Series MVP with Toronto) has help lead his team to a 31-20 record. That record is currently good enough for a tie with the Kansas City Royals for 1st place in the American League Central. Similar to KC the team from the Twin Cities don't have big name players. Yet what they do have is fundamental baseball on offense and defense. Ricky Nolasco thus far is 5-1, the Twins closer Glen Perkins thus far has 19 saves and a 1.88 ERA. On offense they are led by 2nd baseball Brian Dozier 10 HR's and 26 RBI's. Can the young Twins keep this up and make a playoff push for the duration of the season ?
