This season as of July 26th, Atlanta owns Major League Baseball largest division lead. Atlanta lead 2nd place Washington by 8 1/2 games in the National League East. All other division races throughout baseball are relatively close to this point in the season. Baseball 2nd largest division lead comes out of the American League West as the Oakland A's lead the Texas Rangers by 3 1/2 games. July 31st marks the 2013 MLB trade deadline. Let's see which teams around the league buy and which teams sell. As teams look to enter the postseason by flat out taking their respective division or collect 1 of the 2 Wildcards in each league.
