During the current 2011-12 NHL regular season Detroit has set a record in that building. Prior to Vancouver coming in on Thursday and leaving out with a shoot out victory, the Red Wings won 23 consecutive games at home an NHL record. Now the streak will probably be renamed. Meaning the Red Wings haven't loss a home game in regulation in 23 or 24 games.
