WildCard Weekend 3 Bold Predictions

 Saturday kicks off NFL Super Wildcard Weekend.

Here are 3 BOLD predictions for some of the upcoming participants. 

Carolina has nothing to lose and everything to gain. Meanwhile the visting Rams have everything to lose as Super Bowl betting favorites. 

In December the Rams came to Charlotte and left a defeated team. Fast forward to Saturday no one is giving 8-9 NFC South a chance, huge home underdog. 

Panthers find a way to win.

Saturday night the NFC North Champion Bears will host their rivals in Chicago. The opponent with be the Green Bay Packers. 3rd time this season both teams meet. Now a trip to the Divisional Playoff are at stake.

Green Bay in an “upset” win.

Lastly Sunday 4:30pm in Philadelphia the current, reigning, defending Super Bowl champion Eagles host the 49ers.

Lockdown corner Q. Mitchell ( 27 ) rarely is tested and has no interceptions this season. That changes Sunday at some point in the football game Mitchell will come down with his first interception of the season. 

Packers Would ( Love ) To Close Down Solider Fiele

 

Saturday night in Chicago, the Bears will host their all time rival the Green Bay Packers. On the NFC side of Super Wildcard Weekend. NFC North rivals clash, where literally records don’t matter nor the seeding ( 2 vs. 7 ).

Bears second year quarterback Caleb Williams is set to make his first career start. 3rd season in a row Packers quarterback Jordan Love has led Green Bay to January football.

In a season full of injuries in Green Bay the big blow last month was season ending injury to ex Cowboy pass rusher Micah Parsons. 

Even  running back Josh Jacobs amongst others aren’t 100 percent or out completely. 

Expect a competitive game and possible “upset” by the Packers. 

Houston ( AFC ) May Have A Problem

 The 2nd place team in the AFC South are the 5th seed in the AFC playoffs. 

They may never play another game in Houston until next September. 

Yet historically defense travels. It also travels during post season play. Our sleeper team in the AFC to make a run = are the Houston Texas.

Our reason is their defense, highlighted by Will Anderson Jr. , Danielle Hunter and Derek Stingley Jr. 

The defense has play makers on all 3 levels. 

Here at Sports247365 we enjoy defense and low scoring games. 

We certainly wouldn’t mind seeing in these playoffs at some point : Denver vs. Houston.

Where potentially points would be at a premium.

The Texans invade Pittsburgh this Saturday at 4:30pm, to open up Super Wildcard Weekend. 

Zero Hour Possibly Near ? For Head Coach If Bucs Lose…

 A critical winner take all game on Saturday in Tampa.

Basically the NFC South title game, Carolina comes to town to take on the Buccaneers.

Head Coach Todd Bowles in previous years as head coach, has led the team to division titles and playoff appearances.

This season early on after a quick start looked like Tampa could potentially run away with the NFC South. 

Injuries began to occur, and losses started to pile up.

Bowles as a defensive coordinator under Bruce Arians also won a Super Bowl when Tampa defeated Kansas City.

Saturday if Tampa were to lose and not making the playoffs,  could Bowles receive a pink slip ? 

A win would momentarily quiet those rumors. 

Indiana Brings Heisman Trophy Winner To The Rose Bowl

 Here at Sports247365 our all time bowl game : the Rose Bowl. The 2026 edition in Pasadena, California is a quarterfinal CFP matchup between the Big Ten and SEC.

Quarterback and Heisman trophy winner Fernando Mendoza leads undefeated Indiana vs. Alabama.

Alabama is in a rare position as betting underdogs. 

Nonetheless unlike Indiana historically the Crimson Tide is used to this stage.

A spot in the College Football Playoff semifinals await the winner. 

Canes Eliminated Buckeyes In CFP

 The “U” had notable alumni in the building on New Year’s Eve, in Arlington, Texas. 2x Super Bowl Champion : Ray Lewis were on the Canes sideline. Likewise for 3x Super Bowl Champion : Michael Irvin. 

Quarterfinal matchup at the Cotton Bowl, witnessed Miami defeat defending National Champion : Ohio State Buckeyes 24-14. The Hurricanes utilized a physical brand of football, with their defense and running game.

The Hurricanes are off the the CFP semifinals. 

The Buckeyes are searching for answers after losing both the Big Ten Championship game and their opening playoff game, after an undefeated regular season.
