Open Letter To The Philadelphia Eagles

      Dear Philadelphia Eagles, Here at Sports247365 we have been watching this organization since the 1990 season. Age 9, now as the franchise prepares for Super Bowl LVII vs. Kansas City, we will reflect as this is our age 41 season. 

32 years following this organization. Pre Super Bowl LII victory vs. New England and post Super Bowl LII victory. 

0 for 58 in terms of Lombardi trophy / year wise prior to 2017-18 season, now they meaning the organization sit one win away from 2nd SB victory in 5 seasons.

At Sports247365 since 2000 we have witnessed Philadelphia playing in 7 of the 8 overall NFC Championship Games this organization has been to. And now we have seen the Eagles make 3 of that 4 overall SBs in franchise history. 

As Sunday in the desert awaits, the job is not done yet. Additional work to do. 

Championship Wise Post 2000 Eagles/Giants Run NFC East

 Once Arizona left the NFC East, Philadelphia became the only team in the NFC East minus a Super Bowl 

Washington 3 = None since 1991-92 Which was the last time that franchise appeared in a NFC Championship Game. 

Dallas 5 = None since 1995-96 Which was the last time that franchise appeared in a NFC Championship Game. 

Since 2000 the New York Football Giants have been in multiple NFC Championship Games & appeared in 3 Super Bowls beating Tom and Bill ( New England Patriots ) twice. 

Philadelphia in Super Bowl LII finally won a Super Bowl vs. New England after losing to that same franchise in Super Bowl XXIX. The Eagles have been in 7 NFC Championship Games since 2000 and next Sunday will appear in their 3rd Super Bowl since then. With an opportunity to win their 2nd Lombardi Trophy. 

Bay Area QB Situation (TBD)

During last Sunday NFC Championship Game in Philadelphia, Eagles All Pro pass rusher Haason Reddick with a pair of clean hits injured 2 49ers signal callers. 

The second quarterback was Josh Johnson who’s played for several teams in the NFL previously. 

Brock Purdy had to be reinserted in the game. Yet he couldn’t throw the football. All stemming from the hit he took on the 4th play of the game. 

Purdy in subsequent days following the game, had to have Tommy John surgery. The recovery is 6 months. Coach Kyle S. stated free agent Jimmy G would not be returning next season.

Tre Lance the 49ers top selection in 2021, was this season opening day starter, yet a broken ankle ended his season. 

He’s also unproven. Did Reddick with one hit, mess up an organization at the QB position ? Only time will tell.
