Iguodala + Golden State Walking Clean Into 3rd Straight Finals
12-0 is the playoff record the Golden State Warriors will take into the 2017 NBA Finals. Advancing out of the Western Conference really wasn't a surprise. It's the 3 straight clean sweeps of Portland, Utah and San Antonio that were. Golden State won the NBA title in 2015. Meanwhile in 2016 following a 73-9 regular season, they saw a 3-1 series lead disappear while losing Game 7 at home to Cleveland. Currently in the Eastern Conference Finals the Cavaliers hold a 3-1 series lead vs. Boston. Unless something unexpected happens, it'll be Warriors/Cavs III starting June 1st in Oakland. Either way the Western Conference champions will have 10 days off until Game 1 of the NBA Finals. It is basically championship or bust for the Warriors especially with the off season signing of Kevin Durant from Oklahoma City.

Nike Air Shake Ndestrukt Is Back
Nike has brought back the Air Shake Ndestrukt. The shoe was worn during the 1995-96 season by Dennis Rodman. During the Chicago Bulls championship run he wore the black colorway in the postseason. Nike is releasing multiple colorways of this shoe. Personally thought the all black colorway was the best. Coming in second I thought the white and red colorway was cool as well. That season for Chicago, Rodman was a rebounding and defensive force. Something Chicago was lacking once Horace Grant left for Orlando during free agency following the 1993-94 season.
P (Squared) Predators/Penguins Each Single Game Away From Cup Final
Monday night in Nashville the Predators will host the Ducks of Anaheim. It will be Game 6 of the Western Conference Finals. The Predators with a win as they hold a 3-2 series lead, can advance to their first Stanley Cup Final in franchise history. Meanwhile on Tuesday night Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals return to Ottawa. Pittsburgh is up 3-2 and looking for a single victory to advance to the Stanley Cup Final. Pittsburgh is the defending Stanley Cup champions. However in the Eastern and Western Conference Finals expect the Ducks and Senators to play with desperation with their respective seasons on the line. And respective seasons in the balance.
Hey King...Relax ! It's Only 1 Game
During Game 1 & Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals in Boston, Cleveland beat the breaks off the Celtics. 57 points were the combined margin of victory for the NBA defending champion Cavaliers. As the series shifted back to Cleveland on Monday night, it looked as if Boston was headed to a 0-3 deficit. Kevin Love was on fire in the first half especially from downtown. Cleveland took a 16 point halftime lead and were up 20 in the 3rd. Thanks for Marcus Smart who started for Boston with Thomas done for the playoffs due to a hip injury. Along with Avery Bradley 3 point make with just seconds remaining in the game, Boston won Game 3 111-108. Lebron only finished with 11 points and 0 points on the 4th period. James got testy in the post game press conference. Letting a reporter know "You only come around when we lose". Relax King the Cavaliers are still up 2-1 with Game 4 at home on Tuesday. Cleveland appears to be well in control of the series. It's simply a matter of when not if the Cavaliers advance to the NBA Finals.
Historic Franchises Place 1-2-3 During NBA Draft Lottery
The Boston Celtics, the Los Angeles Lakers and the Philadelphia 76ers are the 3 winning est franchises in National Basketball Association history. Boston is currently in the Eastern Conference Finals vs. Cleveland. However thanks to a previous trade made with the Brooklyn Nets the Celtics were in the NBA Draft Lottery. Last year Philadelphia won the top pick, thanks to a previous trade with Sacramento, the 76ers utilized their chance to swamp with the Kings, which landed them number 3 overall. As far as the Lakers they are in a rebuilding process and they landed the second overall pick. Obviously speculation will center around Boston. Will they trade the top pick or actually make the selection ? The next several weeks leading up to the draft or on draft night will answer those questions.
Isaiah Thomas Storybook Playoff Run Ends Due To Hip Inury
Isaiah Thomas is a Seattle, Washington native. He was an NBA All Star in New Orleans this past February. Thomas helped lead the Boston Celtics to the number one seed in the Eastern Conference. However earlier this season Thomas suffered a hip injury. In the Eastern Conference Finals vs. Cleveland on Friday, Thomas was limping on the floor at TD Bank Arena. I.T didn't make it out of the halftime locker room. Cleveland blew out Boston yet again to take a 2-0 lead back to Ohio. Over the weekend I.T was ruled out for the remainder of the playoffs. Also I.T was headed to see a hip specialist. Hopefully the injury isn't too severe. These playoffs have been memorable in more ways than one for Thomas. The 5'7 guard loss his sister to a motor vehicle accident the day before the playoffs set to begin. He poured in a 50+ point game vs. Washington in the East Semis. Loss a front tooth earlier in the Bulls series and knocking down back to back threes before heading for oral treatment. The Celtics probably will lose to the Cavaliers at some point to end their season. However IT emerged as a winner this spring in various ways.

Nike Air Zoom Spiridon Is Back
Back in 1996 when Michael Johnson was running in the Olympics for team USA, he promoted these kicks. Over 20 years later they are now back on the market. Personally the majority of grey with red and black is my favorite colorway of the Nike Air Zoom Spiridon. They also have a colorway that is out with majority grey with blue and black. On a few sneaker websites I've seen the price dip. I'm certainly looking to acquire these at some point, especially because I never had them. They dropped when I was in high school and some of my classmates had them. They were dope then and they are dope now.
2 Decades Later The Air Max 97' Lighter Than Ever
The year was 1998 and it was the summer between junior & senior year of high school. While working in the University City section of West Philadelphia I acquired the Air Max 97'. It wasn't the Silver Bullet colorway, however it was more of a blue/gray/yellow type of makeup. They were so light and so comfortable. Here in 2017 to honor the 20 year anniversary of the Air Max 97', Nike is going gold literally not just with the 97's yet with the 95's and some other sneakers as well. About 2-3 years ago I finally landed the Silver Bullet colorway via Eastbay. Personally outside of the Nike Air Max 95' the Nike Air Max 97' are my favorite all time Air Max kicks. They can be worn to workout or even rock casually.

Canelo Dominates Chavez Jr.
Cinco De Mayo weekend 2017 has become an annual showcase for boxing. The bout between Canelo Alvarez and Julio Caesar Chavez Jr. was extremely personal. Leading up to the fight during several interview sessions collectively and individually Chavez Jr. had plenty to saw about Alvarez and the previous opponents he has fought. They even made a bet on HBO's Face To Face show. Canelo challenged Chavez Jr. to a winner take all bet. Placing each others purse on the line. However it was vetoed by Julio Chavez Sr. and Saturday night it was all Canelo Alvarez. Julio Caesar Chavez Jr. was defeated by unanimous decision. It will lead to a mega fight in the fall.

Round 1 is in the books. In the Eastern Conference all top 4 seeds advanced. Boston defeated Chicago. Cleveland swept Indiana. Toronto knocked off Milwaukee. Washington move on past Atlanta. I expect the defending NBA Champion Cleveland Cavaliers to make quick work of the Toronto Raptors. The two teams met last spring in the Eastern Conference Finals. I expect NBA MVP candidate Isaiah Thomas and the top seed Boston Celtics to go 7 games vs. John Wall and the Wizards. Which will set up an Eastern Conference Finals : Celtics vs. Cavaliers.
Sports247365 2017 NFL Draft Experience
This was the first opportunity for Sports247365 to attend an NFL Draft. In the city where this blog was born Philadelphia,PA the NFL came to town along the Ben Franklin Parkway. The 3 day event lasted Friday, Saturday and Sunday April 27-29. Our blog would like to personally thank the Sugar House Casino for their hospitality. Along with the Philadelphia Bus Company, which provided double decker bus transportation to and from the NFL Draft back to the casino. The NFL Experience was a tremendous experience with something for everyone to do. Local radio station 97.5 The Fanatic is another organization that Sports247365 would like to give a shout out to as well. On Thursday night had the chance to meet the legendary Lawrence Taylor as well as ex Eagle linebacker Jeremiah Trotter. Thursday night was an electric atmosphere prior/during/after the opening round. Rumor has it, their is a possibility that the NFL Draft could return to Philadelphia in 2018.
