We all know how Game 6 of the 2013 NBA Finals ended. San Antonio missed free throws late turned into a Chris Bosh offensive rebound which led to a Ray Allen 3 and eventually a Miami overtime win to tie the series at 3. A late Ginobili turnover in Game 7 sealed the fate of San Antonio and gave Miami their 2 straight title and 3rd title in franchise history. The Spurs basically felt they let the 2013 NBA Championship slip away. Now they get a chance to make up for what happened a year ago. However will Lebron James, D. Wade, Chris Bosh and the Miami Heat allow that to happen. Miami is on a mission to 3 peat. Meanwhile the series could come down to how healthy Tony Parker leg/ankle is. Parker had to exit Game 6 of the Western Conference Finals vs. Oklahoma City with a lower leg injury. If TP isn't his normal self it could diminish the Spurs chances vs. the Heat. Miami battling San Antonio is the 1st repeat Finals since Chicago vs. Utah in 1997 and 1998. We all know how those series ended Jordan, Pippen, Jackson and the Bulls winning their 5th and 6th titles respectively. The next week and a half - two weeks should be interesting. Game 1 starts the Finals this Thursday in San Antonio as the 2-2-1-1-1 NBA Finals format returns.

Did You Know : Lebron Has Done What Jordan And Kobe Has Not
Michael Jordan appeared in 6 NBA Finals. Jordan helped lead the Chicago Bulls to a pair of 3 peats from 1991-1993 and 1996-1998. Kobe Bryant has appeared in 7 NBA Finals along with Shaq they led the Los Angeles Lakers to a 3peat from 2000-2002. Kobe also helped lead the Lakers to back to back titles in 2009 and 2010 and appeared in 3 straight NBA Finals from 2008-2010. Meanwhile Lebron James is appearing in his 5th career NBA Finals. However this is James and the Miami Heat 4th straight NBA Finals 2011-2014. Miami has joined the Lakers 1982-1985 and Boston 1984-87 as the most recent teams to do it. Miami is only the 3rd franchise to cap off that run. Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant have never played in 4 straight NBA Finals. James will look to join Jordan and Bryant as guys who have three peated. Maybe the best is yet to come for Lebron.
Blackhawks vs. Kings Game 7 Let's Get It On
The New York Rangers are patiently awaiting their Stanley Cup Final opponent. The last two Stanley Cup champions Los Angeles Kings and Chicago Blackhawks are looking for a Game 7 win to advance. The defending champion Blackhawks kept their season alive Friday night with a 4-3 win in Los Angeles. Sunday in Chicago at the United Center will mark the Kings 21st postseason game this spring and 3rd Game 7. The winner of Sunday night game will probably be favored vs. New York. Game 7 should be a great battle. The Blackhawks are probably favorite to win. Nevertheless don't underestimate the Kings. May the best team win.
New York Rangers Party Like It's 1994
It took 12 wins for the New York Rangers to turn back the clock 20 years. It also took a 7 game series vs. Philadelphia during the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals and another 7 game series vs. Pittsburgh during the Eastern Conference Semifinals. Finally a Game 6 1-0 win vs. Montreal sent the Rangers to the 2014 Stanley Cup Finals their 1st appearance since 1994. In the process they denied the Canadiens their 1st Stanley Cup Finals appearance since 1993. The Rangers will await the winner of Los Angeles vs. Chicago out West. The winner of the Western Conference Finals will probably be the favorite vs. New York. Nevertheless who cares ! The Rangers have handled adversity all season on and off the ice. The Stanley Cup Finals coming back to Madison Square Garden and the city that never sleeps. Maybe the best has yet to come. Maybe New York will see their team raise the cup like the 1994 team led by Mark Messier vs. Vancouver.

It's Those Chicago Blackhawks Again ! They're Back In The NHL Final 4
The Chicago Blackhawks have won 2 of the last 4 Stanley Cup Finals. By the way they are the defending Stanley Cup champions after beating the Boston Bruins last June. In 2010 they beat the Philadelphia Flyers to claim the Cup as well. During the 2013-14 NHL regular season the true Monsters Of The Midway finished with 107 points in the loaded Western Conference. The playoff team to beat out West especially after acquiring goaltender Ryan Miller from Buffalo, were the St. Louis Blues. Let's go back to the opening round this year St, Louis held a 2-0 series lead vs. Chicago. The Blachawks would go on to win 4 straight and beat the 111 point Blues 4-2. Chicago in the Western Conference Semifinals went on the oust the Minnesota Wild 4-2. Now they will await the Game 7 winner of Anaheim who led the West and 2nd in the NHL with 116 points and Los Angeles who finished with 100 points. The Kings are too shabby themselves going down 0-3 in round one to win 4 straight while eliminating San Jose. The Ducks once trailed LA 2-0 then won 3 straight to go up 3-2 before LA won Game 6 to tie the series 3-3. Chicago will most certainly be a tough out as they reach the NHL Final Four once again.
Rangers Will Face Canadiens In the Eastern Conference Finals
During the 2014-15 NHL regular season the Montreal Canadiens and New York Rangers finished with 100 and 96 points respectively. Now Montreal and New York will square off in the Eastern Conference Finals starting on Saturday. Obviously the winner of the series will head to the Stanley Cup Finals. The Rangers have not reached the Stanley Cup Finals since 1994. Montreal meanwhile has not appeared in the Stanley Cup Finals since 1993 when they won their 24th Cup. It's obviously been a long extremely long time for both teams to represent the Eastern Conference in June. This Saturday let the games begin ! Game 1 will take place in Montreal. How did both teams get here ? Let's take a look : Montreal swept Tampa Bay 4-0 in the 1st round and knocked out Boston on the road in Game 7 during the Eastern Conference Semifinals. Meanwhile the Rangers went through the state of Pennsylvania winning a pair of 7 game series. New York won at home in Game 7 vs. Philadelphia in round one. New York won on the road in Pittsburgh during Game 7. Henry Lundqvist vs. Carey Price will be the marquee goaltender match up.
