Miami Vice Could You Put An APB On Lebron James During The NBA Finals
Lebron James during Miami's NBA Finals Game 5 loss to Dallas, recorded a triple double, the question is how will many view the accomplishment. James scored one basket in the fourth period, which was a layup with 30 seconds left in the game, with the Mavs nearly ahead by double digits. James during Miami's Game 4 loss, only had two points in the final period. Through 5 games of the 2011 NBA Finals James only has 11 points total on 4 for 16 from the field. What's the excuse or reason this season, when James took his talents to South Beach to team up with Wade and Bosh. He has more help in Miami than in Cleveland. Miami trails the series 3-2 heading home for Game 6 vs. Dallas. 2-7 is James all time record through 9 NBA Finals games, his Cavs were swept in 2007 by the Spurs. James must come through along with his teammates if Miami is to force a Game 7. However James did carry the Miami offense against Boston and Miami, when Wade struggled during those series. We will see if he can regain that form.
Dirk Has Opportunity To Seize Championship Moment
Dirk Nowitzki has been in the NBA since 1998. He lead the Dallas Mavericks to the 2006 NBA Finals. Nowitizki was two wins away from his first championship, while being up 2-0. Then Wade and the Miami Heat won four straight games to capture the NBA title 4-2. The following season Dallas lead the NBA with the best record and number one seed in the Western Conference. Dirk won his first MVP award only to lose to the number eight seed Golden State Warriors in round one. Many people questioned the German superstar and wondered if he could lead Dallas to a championship. Fast forward to 2011, Dallas has advanced once again to the NBA Finals after knocking off Oklahoma City in the West Finals, after sweeping the two time defending champion Lakers in round two. Coming in the Finals, many experts didn't believe Dallas stood a chance vs. Miami and their Big 3. Dirk was apart of a huge Game 2 win in Miami, the Heat led by 15 in the final period only to eventually lose. Dallas took advantage at home winning Games 4 & 5, to take a 3-2 series lead back to South Florida for Game 6. Dirk has battled a sinus infection during the Finals as well, however he's been closing games down the stretch at an alarming rate. Dallas has to win one game, then he will have that long awaited championship he desires.

Bruins Respond Against Canucks To Win Game 3 Stanley Cup Final
Vancouver and Boston are the pair of teams playing in the 2011 Stanley Cup Final. It has been awhile since either team has appeared on the NHL grandest of stages. Vancouver last played in the championship round in 1994 and for Boston they last played in the championship round in 1990. Both teams left Vancouver for Game 3 in Boston, struggling to score goals. The Canucks led the series 2-0 in spite of overall scoring issues from great goal tending play by both teams. Some finger biting even happened. One of Boston players was knocked out on a serious hit during Game 3. The Bruins utilized the crushing injury, to motivate them to a 8-1 victory cutting the series deficit to 2-1. NHL reviewed the hit and both players on Boston and Vancouver will miss the rest of the series due to injury and suspension. Moving forward in the series, I'm sure the Bruins have payback on their minds, on the scoreboard and on the ice, expect plenty of penalties.

Heat And Mavs Head To Dallas Tied 1-1 During 2011 NBA Finals
Dating back to 2006 Miami played Dallas 7 times in the NBA Finals including Game 1 of 2011 NBA Finals, Miami defeated Dallas 5 straight times. During Game 2 of the 2011 NBA Finals, it appeared after Miami took a 15 point lead with 6 minutes left, Dallas would lose 6 straight times. Dirk and his teammates with the help of a selfish Heat offense, refused to lose and trail 2-0 going back to Dallas. Instead they came back and won by two, tying the series 1-1 as the teams fly to Texas for Game 3, 4 and 5. It'll be interesting to see how well Dallas can play, if they can limit the turnovers, which lead to easy Miami baskets in transition.
Rose & Durant Must Use Conference Finals As A Learning Experience
Chicago finished the 2010-11 NBA season tied for the league best record. Oklahoma City had a better regular season, for the second straight year. It all begin in Turkey this past summer as young players Kevin Durant and Derrick Rose where Olympic teammates, during the World Championships Of Basketball. Both young all stars raised their games and utilized their summer experience as a learning curve. Durant won another scoring title and Rose won his 1st NBA MVP award. Both Chicago and Oklahoma City made the Eastern and Western Conference Finals respectively. Both teams fell 4-1 to Miami and Dallas. Nevertheless both players must use the bitter taste of losing to improve themselves and their team going into next season. Since the NBA is a league where teams have to live and learn, fall before they can walk and more importantly learn from those experiences.
Shaq Retires Where Does He Rank With All Time Centers Let The Coversation Begin
Shaquille O'Neal became the number one selection of the 1992 NBA Draft by the Orlando Magic. Shaq won Rookie Of The Year, led the Magic to the 1995 NBA Finals and even defeated Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls in a playoff series. During the summer of 1996 O'Neal left the Magic Kingdom for Hollywood. Despite his off and on relationship with teammate Kobe Bryant, Shaq would become a league and NBA Finals MVP several times. The pair led the Lakers to three NBA titles, including a three peat after the 2000,2001 and 2002 seasons, while appearing in another NBA Finals in 2004 before losing to the Pistons. Shaq and Kobe not getting along took it's toll and O'Neal was traded to Miami. In 2006 along with Wade, O'Neal helped Miami win the NBA Finals. That championship would be Shaq's 5th and final world championship. The final years of the big mans career was spent in Phoenix, Cleveland and Boston. Many will debate where Shaq ranks all time in terms of centers. Wilt, Kareem, Russell, Hakeem and many others will join him, in those talks. Shaq was an Olympian, All Star, entertainer, rapper, comedian and a walking billboard for himself and the NBA.
